As the Delfin sets off, you'll enjoy panoramic views from the observation area. Your naturalist guide will walk you through the itinerary, pointing out the wildlife, vegetation, and highlights of your journey.
You'll search for birds and monkeys. As your guide spots wildlife, you'll witness a breathtaking Amazon Rainforest sunset—perfect for photos.

On your first morning, rise early to explore one of the most important areas of the Pacaya Samiria National Reserve. At dawn, wildlife is most active, making it the perfect time for birdwatching. You'll hop on the skiffs to spot parrots, hoatzins nesting just above the water, and maybe even a three-toed sloth among the towering trees and palms.
You will have the opportunity to get to know Carola. She is a spiritual caretaker and healer to hundreds of jungle dwellers spread over many roadless miles
exploring creeks and lagoons in one of the most pristine parts of the Pacaya Samiria Reserve. Your guide will point out the rich biodiversity, and you can even venture out on kayaks or paddle boards to interact with the Amazon’s waters. If you're lucky, you'll spot the famous pink dolphins.
After dinner, cap off the day with a night safari.

You’ll find squirrel and silverback tamarillo monkeys, birds, dolphins, and even sloths! As you skim the riverbanks, look out for small caimans, spiders, and colorful insects. You’ll also have the chance to fish for the famous piranha and learn about this intriguing fish.
As you visit the local community, you'll be greeted with friendly smiles. Also, you can see how cassava is peeled and grated, and get a glimpse of rice processing tools.
You’ll delve into the non-flooded rainforest where your guide will highlight the diverse creatures and plants of the Amazon. Stay alert for surprises—Anacondas, Rainbow Boas, Tarantulas, Poison Frogs, and recently porcupines have been spotted. This trail is one of the rare spots in the Pacaya Samiria Reserve where you might see the elusive 2-toed sloth.

On the way to Iquitos airport, you'll visit the Rescue & Rehabilitation Center of River Mammals (Amazon Forever). Here, you'll meet baby manatees and learn about these endangered creatures, as well as other animals rescued from captivity.
Our land personnel will meet you at the airport, provide your boarding passes, and assist with check-in.
