Day 1: Hoi An

Welcome to Danang. Meet your guide at Danang airport and proceed to Cham Museum in town. This museum is dedicated to indigenous civilisation that ruled centuries over the region.

On the way to Hoi An we will visit Marble Mountains, a cluster of five marble and limestone mountains which are named after the five elements and is a popular sightseeing location in Da Nang because of its alluring beauty. Stone steps carved into the mountain lead to a Buddhist Pagoda. You can also discover stunning caves and enjoy the beautiful view from the top of the mountain. Marble Mountain is also home to Non Nuoc Stone Carving Village, which is a unique craft village to the south of the city. Situated at the foot of the Marble Mountains, this craft village has a proud history covering more than 200 years.

Rest of the day is free for relaxing. 

Day 2: Hoi An

Exploring Hoi An on foot is one of the best ways to take in the city’s charm. While exploring the small yet beautiful town, tourists and frequent visitors alike find that it is a place of quiet and peace. The unique atmosphere here combines elements of Vietnamese, Chinese and Japanese culture. Some of the most remarkable views of the city are from the ancient houses. From here, visitors can catch a glimpse of a long gone past and more subdued and simple time. The tour includes visits to Hoi An Museum, many of the town’s renowned Ancient Houses which boast remarkable architecture, Assembly Halls of Chinese influence; Art Craft Manufacturing Workshop at 9 Nguyen Thai Hoc st, and of course the must-see Japanese Covered Bridge. An optional stop is at the private home of Diep Dong Nguyen (subject to availability) to view a stunning collection of pottery, seals and old Hoi An photographs.

Day 3: Hue

Ba Na is one of the most interesting areas in the region as often one can feel the four distinct seasons within a single day: morning - spring, noon - summer, afternoon - autumn and evening - winter. As not many places in the world can make this claim; therefore, Ba Na is a must visit location. With the Hiking train, visitors going to Ba Na can enjoy the view of the beautiful landscape of nature comfortably and smoothly. It takes tourists to several popular destinations including Linh Ung pagoda, Le Jardin garden and an ancient villa complex. You will also visit Linh Ung pagoda with its exquisite architectural design. It was built in 2004 and is symbolized by a 30 meters high Buddha statue that is exposed amidst an immense space of clouds and mountains. We will continue our trip discovering Tinh Tam garden, Nghinh Phong peak and Vong Nguyet hill where we can enjoy the panoramic views the areas have to offer. After lunch, we’ll proceed to our last stop - Man Thai Fish village, talking with fisher folk about traditional methods catching and rattan basket boat. Then, we will return to your hotel in Hue. Overnight in Hue.

Day 4: Hue

Today we visit the Citadel, Hue’s prime attraction, which contains the Imperial City, the Forbidden Purple City and the Emperor's Private Residence. Following the morning activities, we will have a short break for lunch. In the afternoon, we will take a boat trip on the Perfume river with a stopover at Thien Mu pagoda, considered by many as the unofficial symbol of Hue. It is an active Buddhist monastery with its origins dating back to 1601. One of its most poignant displays is a car belonging to a former monk, who in 1963, drove to Sai Gon and set himself alight to protest against the South Vietnamese regime and its cruel treatment of Buddhist monks and followers. After lunch, we will go to visit the serene Khai Dinh Royal Tomb, designed to blend in with its natural surroundings and built on principles of feng-shui. Overnight in Hue. 

Day 5: End of Itinerary

Breakfast at hotel and transfer to Hue airport for your onward flight.
