Departure from the Masai Mara with your charter flight to Nairobi where you will overnight.
In the morning after breakfast at The Weston you will depart on your commercial flight to Entebbe. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to the Boma Hotel, Entebbe
In the morning you will board your charter flight from Entebbe to Kihihi airstrip and transfer to Buhoma Lodge.
After breakfast you will make your way to the ranger’s station where you will meet your guide for a full briefing before heading out to the starting point of your gorilla trek.
Mountain gorillas are wild animals and, as such, sightings cannot be guaranteed but viewing success rates are over 90%. Once sighted, you will have an hour with the gorillas before making your way back to the lodge. Trek times can vary from 2 to 7 hours and the day’s activities will be arranged accordingly but normally there will be ample time in the afternoon to relax.
Dinner and overnight at Buhoma Lodge.
