Day 1: Windhoek

Arrival at Windhoek International Airport, where you will be met by your Driver/Guide.

 

Transfer to Windhoek, incl. Windhoek City Tour.

Day 2: Naukluft Mountains

From Windhoek, we drive south to BüllsPort, a warm farm stay on a genuine ranch in the shadow of the Namib Naukluft mountains. Its trails, mountain bike tracks and horse rides on some of the very best mounts in the country are a great start to your adventure.

Day 3: Naukluft Mountains

Büllsport offers a lot of exciting activities on the farm and in the neighbouring Namib Naukluft Park. On a guided farm drive (included), guests get first hand insight into the daily challenges of sustainable farming in Namibia and can observe game species as well as the activities of the cattle and horse farm.

 

Hikers can chose between 14 different trails, from short and easy 1,5h walks to challenging six-hour hikes.

 

One of BüllsPorts specialities are the horse riding activities (not included). From riding lessons and tours for beginners to a two-day horse safari - there are a lot of options to consider for the horse enthusiast. A 45-minutes horse carriage ride is also offered!

Day 4: Solitaire

The morning demands an early start. Entering the Namib Naukluft National Park shortly after sunrise. Welcome to Sossusvlei and the highest dunes in the world at raising sun. After this thrilling experience, we visit the Sesriem Canyon, before continuing to our next destination.

Day 5: Swakopmund

We travel through the Namib-Naukluft Park, admiring dried up Kuiseb riverbed and Kuiseb Canyon. On route, celebrating crossing of the Tropic of Capricorn! In the late afternoon, arrival at the old German Colonial coastal town Swakopmund.

Day 6: Swakopmund

A 4x4 Sandwich Harbour Tour has been booked for you today. The scenic drive from Swakopmund to Walvis Bay takes about 45 minutes, from where the Sandwich Harbour Tour departs.

 

Perhaps the most emotional moments of your whole adventure in Namibia, will be driving between the crashing ocean and ancient sand dunes of the Namib, or perhaps when you get to the top of them, with an endless view of sand and sky, either way, you will see and feel things you couldn’t have imagined beforehand, and will never forget afterwards.

Day 7: Swakopmund

The day is spent at leisure.

 

Optional attractions:

Dolphin Cruise or Pelican Point Kayaking Excursions, adventures in Walvis Bay and in the Namib Desert where Dunes meet Ocean. Day 9: Erongo Mountains

The Farm Omandumba West is a typical owner-run Namibian guest farm. Guests who stay at Omandumba will experience a cosy and familiar atmosphere and have the chance to be part of exciting farm events. The experience of the fascinating landscapes of the Erongo mountains are one of the highlights.

Day 10: Otjiwarongo

We will be enjoying a San Bushmen Tour and their Living Museum in the morning en route to the Mount Etjo Safari Lodge. 

 

Mount Etjo Safari Lodge is a popular Namibian game lodge situated in the 36 000 hectares Okonjati Game Reserve, which is home to about 8000 animals. It is well known as one of the first private Game Reserves in Namibia founded by the famous conservationist Jan Oelofse, who was the animal supervisor and handler for the Hatari! movie from 1962.

Day 11: End of Itinerary

Return journey via Okahandja to Windhoek. You will be dropped off at your accommodation, or transferred to the international airport.
