14-Day Namibia Family Adventure (Comfort)

• On arrival at the Windhoek International Airport, a representative from the transfer company will meet you and transfer you to their depot in Windhoek where the vehicle handover will take place, marking the start of your self-drive adventure across Namibia.
• Shortly after you have finalized all rental procedures, a meet & greet representative will meet with you to answer any questions you might have as well as go through your route with you and make sure that you are ready for your self-drive adventure.
• Head to your guesthouse and enjoy a relaxing afternoon at your leisure, exploring the city or unwinding after your journey.
• In the evening, indulge in a delicious dinner at one of Windhoek's popular restaurants, soaking in the vibrant atmosphere and getting excited for the adventures ahead.

• This morning, after breakfast, depart the busy city life of Windhoek and travel toward the serene Kalahari Desert, where you will spend the evening.
• The afternoon is free for you to relax or take part in one of the many optional extra activities offered at the lodge, such as a scenic nature walk, a thrilling 4x4 excursion, or a visit to the nearby dunes.
• Enjoy the tranquil desert atmosphere and beautiful surroundings, making for a peaceful and rejuvenating stop on your journey.

• Wake up to the breathtaking sunrise over the stunning red dunes of the Kalahari Desert and enjoy a leisurely breakfast 
• After breakfast, prepare for departure to your next destination, Sossusvlei where you can spend the afternoon at your own leisure, exploring the area or relaxing at the lodge 
• The next day, a full day is set aside, embark on a self-drive excursion to explore the highlights of Sossusvlei, including the iconic sights such as Dead Vlei, Dune 45, Big Daddy 
• After a full day of exploration, continue your adventure with optional extra activities like a hot air balloon flight or a nature walk immersing yourself in the unique desert landscape

• Depart Sossusvlei after an early breakfast, travelling to the cooler coastal town of Swakopmund 
• There are two route options you can consider, either via the Moonlandscape or Walvis Bay 
• On arrival, check-in at the guesthouse and take the afternoon to explore the charming town, visit local shops, or relax at a cafe. Alternatively, consider joining an optional quad-biking experience in the dunes. 
• The next day, you have a full day set aside for a day filled with excitement. Choose from a variety of thrilling optional activities available in Swakopmund, such as Sandboarding, Dolphin & Seal Catamaran cruise, 4x4 Sandwich Harbour Excursion or Kayaking with Seals

• After a leisurely morning in Swakopmund, depart and travel to Ai Aiba Rock Painting Lodge, where you will spend the evening.
• Upon arrival, enjoy a visit to the nearby Bushman Village, where you can learn about the traditional way of life of the indigenous people and their fascinating history.
• The rest of the afternoon is at your leisure to explore the area at your own pace. You can either embark on a guided or unguided walk to discover the stunning landscapes and ancient rock paintings, immersing yourself in the peaceful surroundings of the lodge.

• Depart early for your next destination, Damaraland. 
• Arrive at your lodge in Damaraland. After a long day on the road, take the afternoon to relax and unwind. 
• The next day, enjoy breakfast and then head out to explore the Twyfelfontein sights, Damara Living Museum and take a drive-in search of the Desert Elephants that roam this rugged terrain (suggested to do as a guided excursion with the lodge guide & vehicle) 
• Return to your lodge for dinner, reflecting on the day's adventures in the stunning Damaraland region.

• After a wonderful couple of days in the scenic Damaraland area, depart for Etosha National Park, where the next few days will be dedicated to incredible wildlife sightings.
• Upon arrival, check in at your lodge and, if time permits, head into the park for a self-drive game drive, making the most of the late afternoon light. This is the perfect way to begin your Etosha adventure, with the chance to spot some of the park’s famous wildlife, such as elephants, lions, and giraffes, before returning to the lodge for a relaxing evening.

• After breakfast, begin your journey through Etosha National Park. Travel slowly, stopping at various waterholes along the way to observe wildlife. Continue your journey and exit the park on the eastern side, where you will spend the next few nights at your lodge. 
• After a busy day, return to the lodge for dinner and relaxation, reflecting on the day's encounters with the majestic wildlife of Etosha.
• The next full day is set aside to enjoy self-drive game drives at your own pace or opt for guided game drives with the lodge guide in open safari vehicles for a more immersive experience. 

• Enjoy breakfast at the lodge, before checking out. 
• Begin your journey to your next destination, in Central Namibia where you spend your last evening in Namibia.

• Today marks your last day, after your breakfast make your way back to Windhoek 
• Drop off your rental vehicle and transfer to the airport
