Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) in Nairobi. After clearing immigration, you’ll be warmly welcomed by our representative and transferred to your hotel. Receive a detailed safari briefing and settle in for your first night in Kenya.
After breakfast, depart northwards to the remote Samburu National Reserve, crossing the equator into Kenya’s rugged semi-arid region. Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge or camp. In the afternoon, enjoy a game drive in search of Samburu’s unique species such as grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, beisa oryx, and the long-necked gerenuk.
Enjoy both morning and afternoon game drives in Samburu. Along the Ewaso Nyiro River, spot elephants cooling off, crocodiles basking, and a wealth of birdlife. Keep your eyes open for big cats including cheetahs and leopards.
After breakfast, drive to the Ol Pejeta Conservancy, arriving at Sweetwaters Tented Camp for lunch. This private sanctuary offers breathtaking views of Mount Kenya and intimate encounters with rhinos, chimpanzees, and other endangered species. In the afternoon, enjoy a game drive and visit the chimpanzee sanctuary and black rhino enclosure.
Enjoy a scenic drive down the Great Rift Valley to Lake Naivasha or Lake Elementaita, arriving in time for lunch. The afternoon is at leisure—consider an optional boat ride on the lake or nature walk among giraffes and gazelles.
After breakfast, depart for the world-famous Masai Mara Game Reserve. Arrive at your lodge/camp in time for lunch. Later, head out on a thrilling afternoon game drive (16:00–18:00 hrs). This is your chance to start spotting members of the Big Five and other iconic wildlife.
Today offers a full-day safari (07:00–15:30 hrs) with picnic lunch in the heart of the Mara. Roam the vast savannah in search of lions, leopards, elephants, rhinos, and buffalos. You may also witness thrilling predator-prey interactions and seasonal river crossings if timed with the Great Migration.
After breakfast, drive back to Nairobi. Stop at a viewpoint overlooking the Great Rift Valley for breathtaking photos. Upon arrival in the city, you’ll be transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward flight.
