Day 1 – Arrival in Windhoek
On arrival, you are met by your guide at the airport and transferred to Windhoek. Your guesthouse is located in the quiet suburb of Avis on the eastern edge of the city. Take time to recover from your journey and relax by the swimming pool.
In the afternoon, enjoy a guided city tour before dinner at a local restaurant, where you may sample Namibia’s renowned game cuisine.

Day 2 – Towards Otjiwarongo
Travel north to the Otjiwarongo region and the Otjiwa Private Game Reserve, covering approximately 12,000 hectares. The reserve is home to over 25 species of wildlife, including rare rhino, sable, and roan antelope.
In the afternoon, embark on a guided game drive before relaxing by the pool. Dinner is enjoyed at the lodge.

Day 3 – Grootfontein Region
Continue north via Grootfontein to Wildacker Guest Farm, located within an expansive private nature reserve. The guest farm offers a relaxed, authentic Namibian atmosphere among ancient, tree-covered dunes.
Spend the afternoon at leisure by the pool or enjoy a sundowner as the day draws to a close.

Day 4 – Into the Caprivi
Today’s journey leads you into Namibia’s lush north-eastern region along the Okavango River. En route, observe traditional round huts of the Kavango people.
Shametu River Lodge is situated directly on the riverbank, just a few kilometres from Mahango National Park. In the afternoon, enjoy a guided game drive in this wildlife-rich reserve.

Day 5 – East Caprivi / Kwando River
Cross the Okavango and continue through Bwabwata National Park to the Kwando River. Your lodge lies south of Kongola with direct river views from its wooden deck.
After lunch, relax before heading out on a scenic boat cruise along the Kwando River — a moment of “pure Africa”.

Day 6 – Bwabwata National Park
This morning, enjoy a guided game drive in Bwabwata National Park. The Kwando River region is renowned for having one of the highest concentrations of elephants in southern Africa. The Horseshoe Bend area is particularly scenic and rich in birdlife.
The remainder of the day is spent relaxing at the lodge, soaking up the tranquil African atmosphere.

Day 7 – To the Chobe River (Botswana)
Travel via Katima Mulilo to Kasane in Botswana, where you are met by a representative from Zovu Elephant Lodge. A short boat transfer brings you to the lodge, set on an island in the Chobe River.
In the afternoon, enjoy an unforgettable boat safari, encountering elephants, hippos, crocodiles, and abundant birdlife.

Day 8 – Chobe National Park
Early this morning, head out on a game drive in Chobe National Park, home to an estimated 80,000 elephants, as well as large herds of buffalo and numerous predators.
In the afternoon, enjoy another boat cruise on the Chobe River before a relaxed evening at the lodge.

Day 9 – Day Trip to Victoria Falls
Today you are transferred to Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe. Visit the majestic waterfall, where vast volumes of water plunge over a 1,708-metre-wide and 110-metre-high rock face. Known locally as Mosi-oa-Tunya — “The Smoke that Thunders” — the spray can rise up to 300 metres and be seen from many kilometres away.
A scenic helicopter flight over the falls is highly recommended (optional). Return to Kasane in the afternoon.

Day 10 – To Nata
Travel south towards Nata. Your lodge is located north of town within a 16,000-hectare private nature reserve known for its resident elephant population.
In the afternoon, enjoy a guided game drive to observe elephants and other wildlife roaming freely across the reserve.

Day 11 – Makgadikgadi Region
Continue to a private game farm on the edge of the Makgadikgadi Salt Pans. The reserve is home to zebra, giraffe, wildebeest, kudu, leopard, and occasionally lions and wild dogs.
A sundowner game drive offers excellent wildlife viewing, followed by a magical evening under a vast, star-filled sky — free from light pollution.

Day 12 – Nxai Pan National Park
Today, enjoy a full-day excursion to Nxai Pan National Park, once part of the immense prehistoric Lake Makgadikgadi. The open pans are home to migrating zebra and wildebeest, playful meerkats, and striking baobab trees.
Overnight: Leopard Plains Lodge (including Nxai Pan exursion)
Day 13 – To Maun
Arrive in the lively town of Maun, the gateway to the Okavango Delta. Your lodge lies north of town on the Thamalakane River.
In the afternoon, experience a traditional mokoro excursion, gliding silently through the waterways of the delta, guided by local polers using long wooden poles.

Day 14 – To the Khwai River
Continue to the northern edge of the Moremi Game Reserve, considered one of Africa’s most beautiful wildlife areas. Sango Safari Camp is set beneath large trees overlooking the Khwai River and offers an excellent base for exploring the Okavango Delta.
An afternoon game drive is included.

Day 15 – Moremi Game Reserve / Okavango Delta
Spend the day on game drives in the Moremi Game Reserve, part of the Okavango Delta — the world’s largest inland delta. The area’s network of waterways, floodplains, and forests supports an extraordinary concentration of wildlife, and sightings of all members of the “Big Five” are possible.
Overnight: Sango Safari Camp
Day 16 – Return to Maun
Enjoy a morning activity before returning to Maun and back to your lodge on the Thamalakane River. Optional activities include another mokoro excursion or a visit to a local cultural village.

Day 17 – To the Kalahari (Namibia)
Travel via Ghanzi to the Mamuno–Buitepos border post, re-entering Namibia. Continue to Kalahari Bush Breaks, set in pristine Kalahari wilderness. The lodge is known for its warm hospitality and excellent barbecue dinners enjoyed around the campfire.

Day 18 – Departure
After breakfast, enjoy the African sunshine one last time before your guide transfers you to the airport for your onward flight.
