4-nights Garden Route Glamping Road Trip

Day 1: Oudtshoorn

Set off from Cape Town nice and early so that you have plenty of time to enjoy the drive to Oudtshoorn. Travel along the scenic Route 62 - recently voted as "World's Best Road Trip" and also known as "The World's Longest Wine Route", stopping to admire the beautiful and varied scenery and to enjoy the little towns along the way. Total driving time between Cape Town and Oudtshoorn is approximately 5 hours.

Oudtshoorn is famous for its Ostriches so we can highly recommend stopping at one of the showfarms (our favourite is Safari Ostrich Showfarm) for a tour and to learn a little more about these giant birds and the history of their farming in the area.

Check in at your Africamp tent in the late afternoon.
