Day notes
On arrival at Msembe Airport please check that you have all your belongings from the aircraft. Meet your guide as you exit the aircraft who will assist you with your bags to the awaiting game drive vehicle. After brief introductions and a safety briefing, depart on a game drive to camp.
The game drive could be as long as 3 hours depending on the camp's current location. With a fabulous bush lunch and refreshments en route, arrive at the camp late afternoon or early evening and settle in after a warm welcome.
Spend three nights at Kichaka Expeditions including all meals, activities and park fees.

Early morning departure on foot after breakfast, then an approximately 10 km / 5 hr bush walk seeking out the highlights of the particular area we are walking in. Depending on what direction and distance we cover during the walk we will either return to camp on foot or be collected by vehicle for a freshly cooked meal waiting for us. For all Afternoon activities there is a choice, from learning about tracking, short walks into the vast Kopje and Inselberg systems (huge rock outcrops), specialist birding, and normal game drives to name but a few.

Another early morning departure on foot after breakfast as we push further into Ruaha's wilderness. Same distances and time involved as the day before with a return to the Base Camp for hot showers and a leisurely lunch. After lunch the usual afternoon activities will apply with a return to camp for campfire drinks and dinner.

A more relaxed breakfast today, but departure soon after to commence the long drive back. Your guide will transfer you to the camp of your choice where you will spend the next 3 nights exploring Ruaha National Park by game drives.
