Day 1 | Saruni Eagle View
• Saruni Basecamp transfer from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport to Wilson Airport (both in Nairobi).
• One-hour scenic flight to the Mara, to be met by a Saruni Basecamp guide for your camp transfer or game drive.
• Enjoy a relaxing afternoon in the camp, overlooking the natural waterhole and salt lick, watching as animals come down to drink.
Day 2 | Saruni Eagle View
• Morning game drive (including a picnic breakfast) in search of the passing herds of the Great Wildebeest Migration, or of year-round resident wildlife.
• Return to Saruni Eagle View for lunch.
• Afternoon game drive segueing into a night drive for opportunities to see nocturnal creatures, before returning to the camp for dinner.
Day 3 | Saruni Eagle View
• Morning game drive in the Mara Naboisho Conservancy, a chance to explore a secluded corner of the Mara ecosystem.
• Lunch followed by a relaxed siesta in the camp, then a guided bush walk focusing on some of the smaller details of the Mara.
• Arrive on foot at a secret bush dinner spot, with the day ending with a short night drive back to the camp.
Day 4 | Saruni Eagle View to Saruni Wild
• Morning game drive (via breakfast) en-route to Saruni Wild, your camp for the second half of your Magical Mara Safari.
• Sign up to our Warriors Academy and enjoy an immersive cultural experience.
• Enjoy a private dinner and some quality time with your travelling companions.
Day 5 | Saruni Wild
• A full-day game drive to give you more opportunities to see the wildlife of the Mara, with a picnic lunch under a lone acacia tree
• Your day ends with a bush dinner accompanied by traditional Maasai dancing and singing
Day 6 | Departure
• Drive through the private Lemek Conservancy to the airstrip, looking out for wildlife on the way.
• The return flight to Nairobi leaves the Mara at 11:00* and arrives in Nairobi at 12:20*.
• Saruni Basecamp transfer* to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, with dinner at the Talisman or Carnivore restaurant (flight times permitting; dinner on your own account).
