Day 1: Victoria Falls (Zimbabwe)

Arrive at any time. Please note that no arrival airport transfer is included in the tour, but we will be happy to arrange one for you.
There are no planned activities until an evening welcome meeting. This will be your opportunity to meet your tour leader and fellow travellers, and learn more about your tour. Opt to join the group for a local meal afterwards. Don't forget to see the notice in the lobby (or ask reception) for the official time and place to meet up with the group.

Day 2: Kasane

After breakfast at the hotel, you set off on your journey and cross the border into Botswana, and stay in Kasane, just outside of Chobe National Park. In the afternoon, try to spot the elephants, crocodiles, and hippos this region is famous for during an optional sundowner cruise or photo river safari.

Day 3: Nata

You have the option of an early-morning safari cruise or drive in Chobe before you head off the Nata. After arriving at the lodge, you have the option of a bush walk or sunset drive and can then enjoy watching elephants drink from the camp's watering hole at night

Day 4: Maun

After breakfast, travel to Maun, the gateway town to the Okavango Delta. You will need to stop off at the shops to pick up supplies for your night of camping in the Okavango Delta tomorrow. You have the option of taking a scenic flight over the Delta this afternoon and in the evening, you will be able to enjoy a traditional dance group perform at the hotel.

Tonight you will need to pack a small overnight bag for your journey into the Delta tomorrow

Day 5: Moremi Game Reserve

Your journey into the Okavango Delta begin with a drive in an open safari vehicle for 1-2 hours to the poling station where you will board a mokoro (dug out canoe) that will take you deep into the Delta, to your bush camp. Camping equipment, a mattress and bedding are provided, but if you would like to bring your own sleeping bag, you can. Local guides will be in charge tonight as they pole you to the campsite and then take you on a nature walk and share stories of their culture.

Okavango

Day 6: Ghanzi

After sunrise and breakfast in the Delta, you will climb aboard the mokoro to the poling station from where you will then head back into Maun. After collecting your bags in Maun, you will then head into the Kalahari Desert. You will spend a night just outside the town of Ghanzi, in a camp run by local bushmen. 

After arriving at camp, you will have an opportunity to go on a guided walk led by San Bushmen to learn about they survive in such a harsh wilderness. You will be able to learn about their hunter/gatherer skills. And after dinner, there is option to watch a traditional dance show.

Travel time: 1-2 hours on mokoro, 1 hour on open game viewer and then 4,5 hours by coach to reach Ghanzi

Day 7: Windhoek

You cross the border into Namibia today, before finishing in the capital city, Windhoek. Today is the longest driving day of the tour, so enjoy the passing scenery.

The tour ends after breakfast. Say goodbye to your fellow travellers as you all head off to your next destinations.
