Amazon Dolphin Lodge 5 Days

After being met in Coca we go down the Napo River by motorized canoe to the Amazon Dolphin Lodge and Protector Forest Pañacocha, with a box lunch along the way. Upon arriving you will have dinner and then a nocturnal walk along a short path to look for insects, night rodents, reptiles, and more, and also listen to the fantastic night concert that the rainforest offers .

The day begins with a trip through Pañacocha Lagoon by canoe to enjoy the amazing concert that the variety of forest birds will sing to you. Return to the camp for breakfast. Trip in canoe through the lagoon and walk along an exclusive path for the observation of islets formed by chontillas and anturios, in which the bird colonies and their nests are established. Lunch in the forest. In the afternoon you will go piranha fishing. Dinner and accommodation.

After breakfast we start a walk through the forest to observe medicinal plants used by the indigenous people that live in thisarea. We will also look for parrots, macaws and toucans. During the afternoon the native guide will share his knowledge about the most common weapon in the Amazon Region,called Bodoquera or Cerbatana (blow pipe gun). After dinner you will make a brief night trip in little boats called piraguas through the waters of Pañacocha River looking for wildlife.

Navigating the waters to visit the  Quichua community of KURIMUYO. Then we will visit Yasuni national park, after which we will continue our trip to the Quichua community of EL PILCHE, where we will enjoy a delicious FISH MAITO - typical food of the local populations. Then, we will continue our trip to the YARINA Ecological Reserve, where we will spend the last night. After dinner we will take a night walk around the forest.

After breakfast, we will take a canoe ride to the SAPOCOCHA lagoon, where we will enjoy the more varied, unique and spectacular sounds of the birds of the sector, in the comfort offered by the imposing observation tower of birds. We return to Yarina Eco Lodge to have lunch, and at 14:00 pm, we begin the return to the city of Coca.
