You will be met by your guide at Cape Town International airport and transferred to Hotel Verde.
Airport transfer
Your guide will take you approx 2 hours into the wine region to the historic Riebeek Kasteel - you can stop for some wine tasting and lunch en route - and check in at Bartholomeus Klip Farmhouse where all meals and activities are included for the next two nights. Why not stop for the famous high tea at The Royal Hotel in the historic village of Riebeek Kastel?
After a leisurely breakfast, your guide will again meet you to take you through the semi desert landscape and historical small farm villags of the Small Karoo to the Ostrich capital, Oudtshoorn and check in to De Zeekoe Guest House.
Prebook dinner and - the early morning meerkat tour (highly recommended).
Your guide is at your disposal today - visit the famous Cango Caves, enjoy a guided tour of an ostrich farm and visit the animal rehabilitation center Cango Wildlife Ranch with cheetah breeding and white tigers - and for the adventurous cage dive with crocodiles!
Spend the next two days exploring Plettenberg bay and its beaches and The Crags with many interesting animal activities and encounters.
Travelling half way back towards Cape Town, stopping in the coastal village of Knysna and Mossel Bay. After 4-5 hours, check in at Jan Harmsgat Country House just outside the beautiful historial village of Swellendam.
Explore Swellendam and its museums in the morning, before transferring back to Cape Town where you check into The Green Annexe central in Cape Town. Your guide will assist you with activities for the next two days. Go on a full day Cape Point tour, explore the Waterfront, take the cable car up Table Mountain, take a half day city tour - advance booking is recommended.
