After breakfast, proceed for the full day city tour of Old & New Delhi including visit of the 17th century Jama Masjid and enjoy normal rickshaw ride through the narrow, winding lanes of colourful and bustling Chandni Chowk.. Also stop in front of the Mughal Empire’s most opulent fort, the Red Fort for a photo stop. Later Visit Raj Ghat where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated.
Afternoon proceed to New Delhi where you will be taken for the Drive past of The Presidential Palace, the one-time imperial residence of the British viceroys, the India Gate, a memorial raised in honour of the Indian soldiers martyred during the Afghan war and a drive along the Rajpath past the Parliament House and secretarial buildings.
Afterwards visit Qutab Minar, the 12th century tower of victory built by a slave king and prototype of all minars (towers) in India. Also visit the 16th century Humayun’s tomb, a precursor to the Taj Mahal.

DELHI – AGRA BY SURFACE: 400 KMS/ 4 ½ HRS
In time you will be transferred to Nizamuddin Railway station to board train to Agra.
Agra – Once a small village on the banks of the Yamuna, it was transformed by two great Mughal monarchs, Akbar and his grandson Shah Jahan into the second capital of the Mughal Empire – Dar-ul-Khilafat, or ‘seat of the Emperor’ in the 16th & 17th century.
Upon arrival in Agra, proceed for a guided visit of the imposing Agra Fort. The fort is approachable by two imposing gates and constructed of red sandstone, the citadel was built by the Mughal Emperor Akbar between the years 1565 and 1573. Encircled by a moat, this dramatic city within a city was the palace of three emperors, Akbar, Shah Jahan and Aurangzeb, each of whom made significant contributions to the wonderful architecture of the inner buildings – a combination of Persian (Islamic) and local Hindu styles.

Built as a monument of eternal love, the monument is described by poet Rabindranath Tagore as "a teardrop on the cheek of time".This magnificent 17th century mausoleum was built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan, as an expression of love for his wife Mumtaz Mahal in the mid-17th century. It is made of milk-white makrana marble and is truly one of the wonders of the world. Though the Taj appears to be amazingly perfect from almost any angle, it is the close-up marble inlay work, which is astounding. Be mesmerized by this outstanding piece of architecture.

Today morning after an early breakfast visit the hilltop fortress at Amber. A jeep will spare you the trouble of reaching up to the fortress. Once on top, stroll through the sprawling complex of courtyards and halls. Visit Panna Meena Stepwell.
Afternoon visit the City Palace, which is an overwhelming complex of exquisite palaces, gardens and courtyards, decorative art and carved doorways.
Visit to Jaipur Spice Market.
Afterwards visit Jaipur's Jantar Mantar is the most famous of five observatories built by Sawai Jai Singh in India. Jai Singh was a great admirer of progresses and research made in the fields of science and technology, and he was passionate about astronomy
Also see the `Palace of Winds’, otherwise known as Hawa Mahal (Only Drive past). It is really an elaborate façade, extremely intricate in its pink sandstone carving.

From its creation in 1727 the royal families and nobles of Jaipur patronised the craftsmen and artisans of the city. These traditions continue to this day and as a result modern day Jaipur is considered by many as the craft capital of India. Traditional methods are still used to produce many valuable and highly prized items. Using skills passed down through generations, artisans and master craftsmen can be seen in the areas of Ghat Darwaza and Vishveshwar ji. On this fascinating evening walk mingle and talk with the locals whilst sampling some of the regions culinary delights; try pakoras, aloo tiki, samosa and sweets from some of the city’s most popular street food vendors. Observe local artisans in their workshops; jewellers and silversmiths, gold and silver foil makers. After breakfast, proceed to visit Mehrangarh Fort, built in 15th century, is considered as one of the most formidable and magnificent forts of Rajasthan. The fort and its palaces were built over period of 500 years; as a result, the varied building styles of many different periods are represented, including the 20th century. The museum in the Mehrangarh fort is one of the well-stocked museums. The museum exhibits the heritage of the Rathores in arms, costumes, paintings, decorated period rooms and many priceless relics of Indian courtly life.
Famed as one of the most beautiful white marble cenotaphs, Jaswant Thada was built in 1899 in commemoration of Maharaja Jaswant Singh II. It serves as the cremation ground for the royal family of Marwar. It is enriched with its amazing grandeur, beautiful gardens and intricately carved facades.

Get started with exploring the city of lakes. Visit the City Palace, the majestic palace is actually a conglomerate of eleven palaces overlooking the sprawling Lake Pichola. Also visit the Jagdish Temple, dedicated to Lord Vishnu and is located in the centre of the old city. The temple has a black marble image of Lord which is unusual for the northern part of the country, where statues of Gods are normally in white marble.
This will be followed by a visit to Saheliyon-ki-bari: the spectacular garden displaying the unique lifestyle of the royal ladies who once lived in the Palaces.

Thanks to Rakshita and her husband Dakshu, get involved in an incredible experience that you will never forget.You will first go to a local market with Rakshita, in her original jeep dated from 1962, to choose the vegetables you want to eat for diner. Rakshita will prepare the dish according to the vegetables you want. You will then go back to their house to enjoy a cup of tea with them. After that, you will help Rakshita to prepare the dinner and will finally be able to sit in the dining room to enjoy and try what you have prepared.
You can appreciate the diner and discover the delicious food of your hosts, and also enjoy a moment to discuss and interact with them. A true sharing experience.
