Today, upon arrival in Lusaka you will hop aboard your transfer vehicle to the beautiful Lilayi Lodge, situated just outside the city. Lilayi Lodge is nestled amongst 650 hectares of unspoiled grassland that is home to over 25 different species of mammals and over 300 different species of birds. Enjoy a game drive, one of their running and walking trails or pay a visit to the baby elephants at the Lilayi Elephant Nursery on site; a project supported by Zambia's Department of National Parks & Wildlife, with the intention of reintroducing these elephants back into the wild.

After your first night in Zambia at Lilayi lodge, you will be transferred back to Lusaka International Airport for your 30 minute flight with Royal Air Charters to Royal Airstrip in the Lower Zambezi National Park. When you land, you will be transferred to Time + Tide Chongwe River Camp, one of the top quality camps in this area. You will be shown to your classic safari tents, designed to make the most of what Mother Nature provided. Each has a panoramic view along the Chongwe River, a spacious open-air bathroom, and a porch with comfortable lounge chairs. The small number of camps in Lower Zambezi National Park keep it free from overcrowding. The area is best known for its impressive variety of safari activities—enjoy game drives and walking safaris on land, take to the rivers on a boat cruise or canoeing safari, or to try your hand at tiger fishing.

After your third night in the Lower Zambezi, you will be transferred to Jeki Airstrip for your Proflight flight to Mfuwe Airport (via Lusaka). You will then be transferred from Mfuwe Airport into the famous and luxurious South Luangwa National Park to Time + Tide Chinzombo. Its six spacious guest safari tents rest beneath ancient msikzi trees. Each has a private pool and soaking tub with panoramic views over the river and its abundant wildlife. This is one of the most game-rich areas of South Luangwa National Park. Take a boat across the river with our award-winning guides for a game drive or safari walk to catch sight of lions, leopards and other world-class predator action.

After your fourth night at Time + Tide Chinzombo, you will wave goodbye to Zambia as you are transferred back to Mfuwe Airport for your Ulendo flight to Likoma Island, Malawi (via Lilongwe) and a quick transfer to Green Safaris' Kaya Mawa Lodge.
Meaning ‘maybe tomorrow’ in Chichewa/Nyanja, the ethos of Kaya Mawa is in its name. Relaxed lakeside living is woven into the style, luxury and comfort of its rooms. Dinner by starlight, massage therapy at their spa, birding, quad biking, e-cycling, cathedral visit, sailing, scuba diving, paddling boarding, and snorkelling in turquoise waters – it’s just another blissful day at Kaya.

Fully inclusive of all meals, airport transfers, non-premium drinks, laundry and limited Wi-Fi available in certain areas. Equipment for snorkeling, paddling, sailing, canoeing, stand up paddle boarding, walking and biking on the island. A tour of the community textiles workshop “Katundu”.
Wipe away the tears, it's the last day of your tour and your stay at the beautiful Kaya Mawa. Today you will be transferred back to Likoma Airstrip for your Ulendo flight back to Lilongwe International Airport for your onward flight home.
