- On arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you’ll be met and shown to a VIP lounge where you can relax whilst waiting for your connecting flight to Nyerere.
- Upon arrival in your chosen national park, you will be met by a guide and provided with an overview of the surrounding area whilst enjoying a game drive to camp. On arrival, you’ll be provided with a briefing and camp overview, before sitting down for lunch and the opportunity to settle in.
- In the afternoon, you will return to the bush with your guide and discover the incredible wildlife. Nyerere is a hidden gem, offering boating and walking safaris to complement your game drives, and wildlife which includes wild dog, elephant, giraffe, leopard and abundant hippo and crocodile in the waterways.
- At sunset, head back to camp, where you can freshen up before enjoying drinks around the campfire, followed by a delicious dinner. A perfect ending to the first day of your honeymoon.
- Depending on your preferences, there are a couple of options available as to how your day is structured. One option is to break camp early and head out with a picnic breakfast for a morning game activity, returning to camp in time for lunch. This allows you to leave camp as early as possible, as wildlife is often most active in the cool morning hours. In the afternoon, you can do another game activity or relax by the pool with a good book. Alternatively, you can eat breakfast at camp and head out on your game drive slightly later, with a picnic lunch to be enjoyed on the plains or overlooking the river, returning in the mid-afternoon. Private vehicle hire is optional, significantly increasing flexibility, but it must be booked in advance.
- The camp offer game drives and walking safaris. Nyerere also offers boating safaris, which are one of the best ways to experience this park, enjoying wildlife sightings from the water.
- You will spend three days in the bush before heading to the coast and the romantic tropical islands of Zanzibar for the remainder of your honeymoon.
- You’ll be collected at Zanzibar airport and whisked off to Breezes Beach Club & Spa.

From Breezes Beach Club & Spa, an approximately 90-minute journey will get you back to Zanzibar Airport, where you will check in for your international flight home.
