Day 1: Salvador

Arrival at Salvador airport and private transfer to your hotel. Have a free afternoon followed by a welcome dinner to start tasting Brazilian cuisine. Overnight. 

Day 2: Salvador

After breakfast, depart to a traditional community and learn more about the social projects. Visit to a local market followed by a cooking class. After lunch (included), return to the hotel and overnight.

Day 3: Salvador

After breakfast, depart for a historical tour. After lunch (included), free afternoon at leisure. Overnight.

Day 4: Rio de Janeiro

Free morning to relax. Check-out at the appropriate time and private transfer to the airport to board on flight to Rio de Janeiro (flight not included). Arrive in Rio and private transfer to the hotel. Have a special Brazilian BBQ dinner (included) in the marvelous city. Overnight at the hotel. 

Day 5: Rio de Janeiro

Have an early breakfast and depart to the Corcovado Mountain to visit Christ the Redeemer.  Return to the hotel. In the afternoon, depart for your Cooking Class. 

Regular classes: From Monday to Saturday at 4pm. Closed on Sundays.  

Note: For 6 people or more the class will be private. For private classes for 5 people or less, upon request.

Day 6: Rio de Janeiro

Free morning at leisure. In the afternoon, depart to Sugar Loaf Mountain (recommended in the afternoon to see the sunset).

Expert tips

Optional: Hiking towards Urca Hill (220m). We walk by Cláudio Coutinho way and take the trail to reach the Urca Hill. The first step is steep and the trail takes about 40 min. It can be decided locally and will reduce the time up there but will avoid queuing for the cable car. No extra cost. *Moderate level. 

Day 7: Paraty

After breakfast, transfer to Paraty (approximately 4h driving mostly along the coast). Have lunch (included) upon arrival and free afternoon. Late afternoon, depart for a walking tour around Paraty old streets.  At 7pm dinner (included) at a small and charming local restaurant. Rest of the night at leisure - we recommend going out for drinks. Overnight.

Day 8: Paraty

Breakfast and depart for a private boat trip. Paraty is surrounded by lush rain forest vegetation. The bay is an unforgettable place with its crystalline water, perfect for swimming and snorkeling. Stops on islands or remote beaches will be made along the program.  

Please note: Wear your swimsuit under your clothing; bring a towel, sunscreen, hat and bottled water. Mask and snorkel available on the schooner. Lunch on board is included.

Day 9: Paraty

Breakfast and free morning. In the evening, join renowned Brazilian chef Yara Castro Roberts to prepare and enjoy together a refined Brazilian dinner with the best of Brazilian cuisine. The menu is from six regional and historical cuisines such as Minas Gerais, Bahia, Amazonas, Cerrado. These are also the subject of the book “The Brazilian Table” that have been nominated and a finalist in an international book awards.

Activities and Services

Day 10: Iguazu Falls

Breakfast and transfer to São Paulo or Rio de Janeiro Airport to board on flight to Foz do Iguaçu (flight not included). Arrive and transfer to your hotel. Check-in and free afternoon to relax. By the end of the afternoon, join a special dinner (included). A 6-course menu finalized and stacked in a Kitchen Show, where the chef will explain how some "pièce de resistance" of Brazilian Cuisine are prepared, the most typical ingredients and how they came to this day. Do not miss out on this chance to sample what's best, served by a dedicated and exclusive chef.  

Included: 6-course menu with non-alcoholic beverages (water, 2 options of juice/soft drink), wines from small and medium producers (harmonized with the food), beers and exclusive caipirinhas.

Day 11: Iguazu Falls

After breakfast,  visit the Argentinean Side of Iguassu Falls. Return to the hotel. Overnight.

Day 12: End of Itinerary

Have an early breakfast and depart at 8 am to visit the Brazilian Side of the Iguassu Falls.  Return to the hotel. According to your flight time, have lunch at the hotel or have a boxed lunch to eat on the way to the airport.
