We usually set off early, before it gets too hot. There are a number of trails leading up the mountain - let's discuss the various options. Once at the top, enjoy the stunning views and perhaps grab a bite to eat before you take the cable way back down.
For the rest of the day, visit the city's museums, the Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens and perhaps end off at the trendy beach area of Camps Bay for afternoon drinks.

This walking food tour is a foodies delight, where you will experience 10 tastings at various food and drinks establishments around the city. Enjoy a unique perspective by exploring Cape Town on foot. Admire the city’s architectural styles and influences and learn interesting historical facts and how history influenced our food scene. Remember to arrive hungry!
This afternoon you may wish to visit the Watershed market which offers a range of upmarket gifts, clothing and jewellery. If you're feeling active, you could hire bicycles and cycle along the beachfront.

You'll be collected in your sidecar motorcycle for a drive along the coast to the scenic Chapman's Peak Drive. Stop for photo opportunities - your guide will take over from here. Continue to Cape Point and visit the lighthouse, the beaches and perhaps grab a bite to eat. Continue to Boulders Beach if you'd like to visit the penguins, or continue to the artsy town of Kalk Bay where you can browse the interesting shops and galleries.

Check out and transfer from Franschhoek to Cape Town Airport (drive time 1 hour) for your flight to Nelspruit - departs 10:00am / arrives 12:35pm. Connect with the short flight to Dulini (about 20 minutes).
**The flight to the safari lodge is in a small bush plane. These flights operate a shuttle service and guests may be dropped off at other locations before proceeding to their lodge.

Settle in ahead of the afternoon safari drive which departs at around 4:00pm. Your experienced ranger will tell you more about the animals, plants and birds found on the reserve. Return to the lodge for a sumptuous dinner.

On safari - enjoy morning and afternoon safari drives with your guide.
Set out in an open 4×4 safari vehicle in the company of a ranger and tracker team, who will attempt to track your favourite animals. The Sabi Sand Game Reserve is well known for its leopard sightings and you may well spot one of these elusive cats resting after a successful night hunt. These usually shy and elusive cats have become accustomed to vehicles in the Sabi Sand and, unlike many other areas, where leopards are rarely glimpsed in daylight hours, sightings of these magnificent animals are not uncommon on day drives.
Before setting out on your first game drive, the trained guide will ask you about your favourite wildlife species and will do their best to ensure that your preferences are met, whether it is tracking a particular animal or spending more time enjoying each sighting and getting to know the habits of the animals. The guide and tracker will also tell you about the vegetation of the region and will explain the behaviour of the animals that you come across. In some cases, the guides will be able to identify individual animals and let you know about their history and habits.
Optional walking safaris are also available and are highly recommended! For those looking for an active thrill beyond the excitement of Big Five sightings on a game drive vehicle, a walking safari offers an opportunity to connect with the African bush, interacting with all its inhabitants, from largest to smallest.
