Days 1 - 3: Franschhoek

Today you arrive in Cape Town where you will be met and a private transfer to the beautiful Stellenbosch area of the Cape will be there ready for you, so you can get in relax and settle into your new environment and time zone after your long flights.

During your time here you will be able to enjoy the wonderful facilities and have a tour of the vineyards and enjoy some of the classic wines they produce here in the area. You will also be able to have activities laid on for you which could  include a cable car ride up on top of the iconic Table Mountain, walk around the famous Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, Visit Boulders beach and the penguin colonies there, ride down to the legendary Cape Point and have a private tour of the excellent Two Oceans Aquarium in Cape Town. Its all there for you or you can just sit back and relax with a nice glass of wine.

Days 4 - 7: Selati Game Reserve

The conservation part of your safari starts today with a flight through to the Kruger Park area and then a safari game drive over to the private Selati Game Reserve where you will be participating in the important work that is done here by the research and conservation teams. Each day will start early with a briefing from the conservation team on the work that is to be done and the targeted animals, describing why it needs to be done and what your involvement will be, as each of the species targeted for the day needs a different strategy and plan.

This will be an extraordinary and unique  experience as well as very educational at a level that few people ever get when coming to Africa. While here there is also some down time driving between localities or while waiting for information to come in from ground teams on species localities so you will still be doing your more usual game viewing activities on this wildlife rich conservancy.

Days 8 - 10: Ngala Private Game Reserve

Today you transfer through the bush to the very comfortable and beautiful Ngala tented Camp deep inside the famous Sabi Sands area of Kruger Park. It is a an excellent private area that has a wide variety of species including all of your "Big 5" animals so anything that you may not have seen and experienced in Selati will be on show here so a great place to finish off your safari experience in South Africa.

Day 11: End of Itinerary

You will fly today through to Johannesburg International Airport, we shall time these flights to try and best suit your International departures or onward travel plans.
