Day 1: Overnight Travel

Day 2: Kolkata

Arrive Kolkata and transfer to your hotel. Formerly the capital of British Raj India, Kolkata is an historical treasure trove.

Remainder of the day at leisure.

Day 3: Kolkata

Morning sightseeing includes the Victoria Memorial and St, Paul's Cathedral.

Afternoon free to explore further.

Day 4: Darjeeling

Morning flight to Bagdogra and drive through beautiful foothills to Darjeeling.

Possibility to ride the famous Toy Train.

Day 5: Darjeeling

To Tiger Hill for sunrise over Kanchenjunga.

Return via the Ghoom Monastery, the oldest in Darjeeling.

Afternoon visit the Zoo, noted for snow leopards and pandas.

Day 6: Missing Point

Drive to Pelling, at an altitude of 2,092 metres, with magnificent Himalayan vistas.

Afternoon visit the Pemayangtse Monastery, one of Sikkim's oldest.

Day 7: Gangtok

On to Gangtok, Sikkim's capital, with fairytale houses precariously balanced on steep mountain slopes.

Afternoon city tour.

Day 8: Gangtok

Head to Tsomgo Lake, its placid water in perfect harmony with its environment. Situated at 3,692 metres, it is simply beautiful with wildflowers and alpine vegetation.

Day 9: Kalimpong

Drive to Kalimpong in the Himalayan foothills. A Raj hill station with a stunning backdrop of towering snow capped peaks.

Time to explore.

Day 10: Darjeeling

Drive to Glenburn Tea Estate, with its breathtaking views of the Kanchenjunga Mountain Range.

Remainder of the day at leisure.

Day 11: Darjeeling

Morning tour of the estate and tea factory.

An inspiration for artists, writers and photographers; it is a place to relax.

Day 12: Kolkata

Drive to Bagdogra and fly to Kolkata.

Day 13: Overnight Travel

Transfer to the airport for your flight home
