Days 1 - 3: Cape Town

On arrival at Cape Town International Airport, you will be met by a our representative and assisted with customs, immigration and luggage collection before proceeding to the arrivals hall. Private road transfer from Cape Town International Airport to Belmond Mount Nelson. Transfer time is approximately 30 minutes.

Spend 3 nights at Belmond Mount Nelson Hotel in 1 Double Deluxe Junior Suite with en suite facilities on a bed and breakfast basis including Wi-Fi, complimentary shuttle to the Waterfront, use of business centre (subject to availability), bottled water on turn down, Gymnasium with 24 hour access (for Guests age 16+) and use of our sauna, steam room and plunge pool within the Librisa Spa (for Guests age 16+).

Day 02: Private Half Day City and Table Mountain Tour (Including Lunch)

You will be met at Belmond Mount Nelson Hotel to start your Private Half Day City and Table Mountain Tour. The first stop (weather permitting) is Table Mountain’s Lower Cableway Station, for a 5-minute revolving cable car ride to the top. We will explore the mountain’s summit and absorb the breath-taking views before descending. We then return to the city via the old Cape Malay Quarter for a walk through the Company Gardens, a fresh produce garden for ships and locals from the mid-17th century, and now home to the South Africa Museum, Houses of Parliament, National Gallery and St George’s Cathedral. We stroll through the city to Greenmarket Square, where you can browse the bustling market stalls for beautiful and unique African mementos. From there we drive to the Castle, South Africa’s oldest building, with its incredible collection of Old Cape paintings. Take in the nearby Grand Parade, where Nelson Mandela addressed the nation on his release in 1990, and then move on to the District Six Museum, which showcases the colourful life of this legendary area and the forced relocation of its residents during the Apartheid era. We round off our tour at one of the city’s popular restaurants, before returning to your hotel. Entrance fees to Table Mountain Cableway, the South African Museum, the Castle of Good Hope and the District Six Museum are included. Other points of interest are optional. After the experience you will be dropped off at Belmond Mount Nelson Hotel.

Table Mountain was officially named one of the New 7 wonders of Nature in December 2012. Both local and international tourists are adding the New 7 Wonders of Nature sites to their “bucket lists”. Table Mountain is the most accessible of the New 7 Wonders and is the only one in a city.

Day 03: Private "The Very Best of the Cape Peninsula" Full Day Tour

You will be met at Belmond Mount Nelson Hotel to start your Private “The Very Best of the Cape Peninsula” Full Day Tour. We make our way along the Atlantic seaboard passing Sea Point, Bantry Bay and Clifton. Bakoven and Llandudno, with their ghostly shipwrecks, are also fantastic sights on the way to the fishing village of Hout Bay, where we board a scheduled boat to view the Cape fur seal colony on Duiker Island (weather dependent). From here we navigate the 114 curves of 600m high Chapman’s Peak Drive. We enter the Cape of Good Hope section of the Table Mountain National Park with its unique Cape fynbos vegetation and home to birds like African black oystercatchers and Cape sugarbirds as well as to very special fauna including Cape mountain zebra, bontebok (both endemic) and the charismatic Cape baboon. Climb (or ride the world’s first environmentally friendly funicular) to the famous Cape Point Lighthouse to capture the magical vistas of False Bay. After lunch, we visit Boulders Beach to see the penguins, and then head home through the naval village of Simonstown and over scenic Boyes Drive, taking in the views of the fishing harbour at Kalk Bay and the seaside havens of St. James and Muizenberg. To round off your day you can take a stroll through Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens on the slopes of Table Mountain. After the experience you will be dropped off at Belmond Mount Nelson Hotel.

Days 4 - 5: Franschhoek

Please make your own way from Belmond Mount Nelson to Babylonstoren. The approximate travel time will be +/- 1 hour. (Car rental not included – to be quoted separately on request.

Spend 2 nights at Babylonstoren in 1 Double One Bedroom Suite on a bed and breakfast basis including accommodation, laundry (6 items per day), personal larder in rooms, full access at all times to the garden, private guided garden tour and farm walk, cycling and canoeing / rowing on the farm dam, fly fishing, harvest tour, bread baking with the bakers, cellar tour and wine tasting. An afternoon drive is included on a 2 night stay or longer.

Discover the winelands with visits of wine estates inclusive of wine tasting, explore the towns of Stellenbosch and Franschhoek, or participate in activities as offered by the hotel.

Days 6 - 7: Grootbos Private Nature Reserve

Please make your own way from Babylonstoren in Franschhoek to Grootbos – Garden Lodge in Hermanus. The approximate travel time will be +/- 2 hours.

Spend 2 nights at Grootbos – Garden Lodge in 1 Double One Bedroom Luxury Suite with en suite facilities on a full board basis including accommodation, welcome drink, water, soft drinks, tea and coffee, minibar, fresh fruit daily in suite, daily activities, various maps of the reserve and the area for self-guided walks, conservation levy and transfers to/from all activities. Activities include horse riding for non- and experienced riders through the reserve (weight limit is 90kg/198lbs per person), guided walks including fynbos nature tours and Milkwood walks, nature, marine & coastal drives and walks including the Walker Bay Nature Reserve, De Kelders cliff walk, Klipgat Cave combined with seasonal land-based whale watching (whale watching especially during July – December) and bird-watching. Diner's Club Credit Cards are not accepted.

Day 8: Swellendam

Please make your own way from Grootbos - Garden Lodge in Hermanus to Schoone Oordt Country House in Swellendam. The approximate travel time will be +/- 2 hours.

Spend 1 night at Schoone Oordt Country House in 1 Double Honeymoon Suite with en suite facilities on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis including afternoon tea, in room tea/coffee with homemade biscuits, bottled water and WiFi.

South Africa's third oldest town offers a fascinating array of Cape-Dutch architecture. Visit the Drostdy Museum and the Mayville Residence Museum, pop into the bee and honey shop,  or visit the Keurbomen cheese shop 3 km down the R60 country road. Do a township tour or visit the the mission village of nearby Suurbraak. Go on a river cruise on the Buffelsjag River in nearby Umshanti, even trying some of the 35 restaurants in town, to taste some typical South African recipes.

Day 9: Knysna

Please make your own way from Schoone Oordt Country House in Swellendam to Head Over Hills Luxury Retreat. The approximate travel time will be +/- 3 hours

Spend 1 night at Head Over Hills Luxury Retreat in 1 Double Viewpoint Deluxe Room with en suite facilities on a bed and breakfast basis including mini bars inclusive of complimentary, cool drinks, water & beer (exclusive of wines) & Nespresso tea and coffee facilities, WiFi throughout, complimentary welcome drink, parking. Joining a cruise  to Knysna Heads inclusive of an exquisite oyster snack is just one of the many things to do in Knysna.  visit Ile de Pain coffee shop and bakery to taste a vast assortment of  oven-fresh bread.

Take a township tour with a bit of a difference. Just outside of Knysna, along George Rex drive, you will notice a Rasta flag in green, yellow and red flying high above the township. The tour will take approximately 2.5 hours where the guide will show you around, tell you about their history, culture and beliefs.

You will have the opportunity to chat to some of the residents who can explain in a bit more details about their way of life. While there you will also visit he crèche and sing with the children as well as a few more traditional township tour activities.The tour will depart from Knysna. Day 10: Plettenberg Bay

Please make your own way from Head over Hills Luxury Retreat and Spa in Knysna to The Plettenberg Hotel in Plettenberg Bay. The approximate travel time will be +/- 40 minutes.

Spend 1 night at The Plettenberg Hotel in 1 Double Luxury Room with sea view with en suite facilities on a bed and breakfast basis including Mini Bar (all premier brands can be requested at an additional cost) and WiFi.

Visit the Bird of Prey Rehabilitation and Awareness Centre. This outstanding rehabilitation centre strives to raise community awareness of raptors and the impact of humans on their environment. Birds of Eden in Plettenberg Bay is the world’s largest single span aviary, just a few kilometres east of Plettenberg Bay in the Garden Route, where birds are free to fly free provides an incredible experience for those who visit, and a wonderful way of life for over 2000 previously caged birds. The completely unique venture of Birds of Eden is an enormous two hectare dome spanning a gorge filled with verdant, indigenous forest. Within it are some 100 species of incredible African birds, a few of them endangered, that provide anyone entering the dome with a literal experience of paradise.

Day 11: Hazyview

Please make your own way from The Plettenberg Hotel in Plettenberg Bay to George Airport. The approximate travel time will be +/- 1 hour and 30 minutes. Before check-in for your flight, please drop off your rental vehicle at the airport.

Scheduled Flight George via Johannesburg to Skukuza Airport – Flight NOT included!

Private road transfer from Skukuza Airport to Highgrove House. Transfer time is approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. Spend 1 night at Highgrove House in 1 Double Executive Orchard Suite on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis.

Days 12 - 14: Sabi Sand Nature Reserve

After breakfast, you will spend most of this day exploring the wonderful sightseeing activities of this region before arriving at Singita Ebony Lodge. Lunch is offered at Harries Pancakes in Graskop. Visit:
