Days 1 - 2: Sossusvlei

Depart Windhoek and travel by vehicle to the famous red dunes of Sossusvlei to discover life in one of the oldest and most arid deserts.
 

Days 3 - 4: Swakopmund

Transfer by road to Swakopmund, a picturesque town with an eclectic mix of European and African cultures. Take a boat cruise from Walvis Bay to explore the ice-blue Atlantic coastal area and the environs.

Day 5: Twyfelfontein

Travel by vehicle up to the legendary Skeleton Coast and through the productive Ugab riverbed, to Damaraland. This land of stark beauty boasts a varied assortment of desert adapted wildlife and incredible geological features.

Days 6 - 7: Palmwag

Continue by vehicle to the rugged, rocky and Mountainous Palmwag region. Spend these two days tracking the rare desert adapted black rhino which are monitored and protected by the Save the Rhino Trust.

Days 8 - 10: Hoanib River

This morning transfer by light aircraft over spectacular desert scenes to Hoanib. This rugged and dramatic landscape is famed for plant and animal life that has adapted superbly to the harsh environment of mountains, vast plains, dunes, dry riverbeds and the icy Atlantic Ocean,

Days 11 - 13: Ongava Private Game Reserve

Transfer by light aircraft to Doro Nawas and continue by road to Ongava Game Reserve on the edge of Etosha National Park. Spend these days exploring Etosha and the game rich Ongava Game Reserve.
