Days 1 - 2: Southern Kruger

Early morning on day 1 we depart Johannesburg at 08:00, the city of Gold, and head off on an adventure of a lifetime. Our journey takes us through the Mpumalanga Province as we travel to Kruger. A truly unique African experience unfolds as we enter the Kruger Park via one of the Southern gates.  We then continue our journey, arriving in the late afternoon at our accommodation.

Every day after an early rise we depart the last night's camp at first light. Our game drive takes us to some of the best game drive routes within Kruger Park, giving us the opportunity to view the varied landscapes and abundant wildlife. The entire day is spent game viewing, bird watching, and stopping off at the various waterholes en-route to our central Huts. The route we follow depends entirely on sightings. After an adventure-filled day we arrive at our camp for a traditional African meal. We will spend most of today on game drives, stretching legs, and relaxing.

Day 5: End of Itinerary

Today, you will say goodbye to the fabulous Kruger Park on your last morning game drive and your last chance to spot the elusive animals that you did not see during your trip. You will have your breakfast back at the camp and then make the six-hour drive back to Johannesburg passing through the Lowveld and Highveld with beautiful scenery (Panorama Route). Bush Whisper recommends you plan on sleeping overnight in Johannesburg tonight. You will be dropped off at a pre-determined meeting point.

On the last day, Bush Whisper plans on being back in Johannesburg between 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. However, because of having multiple drop-off points, Bush Whisper cannot guarantee any specific return time. If you are flying out of Johannesburg on the same day, please do not book any flight departing before 20:00 p.m.
