10h00  | The walking tour begins with explorations in the city’s water origins, and proceeds through indigenous, colonial and apartheid eras, before explorations in post-apartheid democracy through to present times. The District Six Museum and Slave Lodge feature.

Guests are introduced to key figures from these periods including Cissie Gool, Steve Biko, Imam Haron, Philip Kgosana, Kratoa, Massavana and of course Nelson Mandela and Winnie Mandela. Part of the tour focuses on Nelson Mandela’s first speech as a free man, at City Hall.

Cape Town is an incredibly musical city. This is the city where   music is at its most creative in South Africa, something which is due partly to the natural environment we have, which encourages creativity, but mainly it is because of the history of the city and the diversity of people and cultures and sounds that have ended up here

On this special music journey we are doing to travel deep inside the jazz music of the city, by visiting local jazz musicians in their homes. Part one is a visit to the home of a jazz musician for dinner, with music and conversation, or to a jazz venue for the late set. The experience is intimate and deep, full of music and engagement and fun. It is a unique opportunity to meet local musicians away from club stages, and an excellent way to discover more about Cape Town and the lives of the people that live in it – through the music. Our hosts include will Cape Town musicians young and old, all of them composers and performers. These are the musicians defining the sound of the city.

Full day Cape Point & Cape Winelands Day tour 

This morning meet your guide  at 0830  in the lobby.   Commence your tour of Cape Peninsular and onward to Franschhoek.

Cape Town's Chapman's Peak Drive is all about the scenery. Overlooking Noordhoek and Hout Bay, this rocky coastal roadway offers numerous points at which motorists can safely pull over and savour a panoramic view across the deep-blue waters of the Atlantic Ocean and the shapely shoreline that meets it. From stunning vantage points, some of which are up to 593m above sea level, it is not uncommon to see whales and dolphins frolicking in the ocean below, and baboon troops curiously observing passing tourists. This is a perfect place from which to take stunning photographs of the Cape.(Entrance Fees Included)

Continue to  Franschhoek  where we will stop at Haute Cabriere for a wine tasting & lunch  (own account) after lunch we continue to the La Motte Estate for another wine tasting.  (tasting on own account) .  

Time permitting we might be able to squeeze in another cellar but if not back to Cape Town .

Cape Town: Table Mountain, Helicopter  & City Tour - 9 Passengers

Meet your guide at 0800  and depart for your tour of Table Mountain, ascend the mountain (weather permitting).  The group will then continue to NAC Helicopters base for the  3 Bays 24 minute helicopter tour    8 passengers only for this.

Lunch will be at leisure at the waterfront, after lunch meet the guide and continue with the tour of Cape Town City.

Return to the hotel and evening at leisure.

Meet your local guide at 8.00 am for the guided tour of Victoria Falls.

10.00 am  slot for the 25 minute helicopter flight over Victoria Falls for 8 guests.   All 9 passengers to travel together.

12.30  Lunch at the Lookout Cafe for 9 guests -  2 course meal ( no drinks)

Return to the hotel. 

This afternoon transfer to the jetty and embark the M/V Malachite and enjoy a sunset dinner cruise inclusive of wines & drinks. Your transfer will leave the lobby at 1630, and you will return to hotel after dinner.

Your transfer will depart The Victoria Falls Hotel at 1520 hours.  

Arriving in Nairobi you will be met by the Albatros representative (Otieno or Mike) and transfer to your hotel.    Albatros will reconfirm the collection time for tomorrow's touring.

This morning you will visit the Daphne Sheldrick's Wildlife trust  followed by the Giraffe Centre, lunch at a local restaurant ( own account) followed by a visit to the Karen Blixen Museum.  This evening transfer to the Talisman Restaurant ( own account) for dinner.

Your guide will reconfirm departure time for the following day, please remind your group that they must have their left luggage packed and ready  for the next day

An early start    breakfast transfer to Wilson Airport for your morning flight to the Masai Mara which departs at 10.00 am. and will arrive at 11.00am. You will be met by the camp’s driver guide and enjoy a game drive  to the camp.

Enjoy lunch and then later in the afternoon you will head out for the first of your game drives in the  private Mara North Conservancy.  Return back to the camp for meals and the opportunity to relax and really soak in the African bush.

All game activities operated by Elephant Pepper Camp  driver/guides in open 4 x 4 safari vehicles.

Enjoy 2 full days of game viewing. 1 full day will be  spent in the Masai  Mara National Reserve   and the other day will be spent exploring the private  Mara  North Conservancy.

Sunrise marks your final morning in the Masai Mara. After breakfast you will be transferred to the airstrip for your Safarilink scheduled flight to Migori Airstrip departing at 1130hrs to arrive at 1200hrs.

Re-board your flight at Tarime to fly into Kogatende Airstrip. On arrival into the Serengeti, you will be met by your Camp’s safari vehicle and driver guide. Drive to the Camp for Lunch and check inn. Afternoon game drive in Serengeti.

Over the next two days  enjoy  morning and evening games drives in the Serengeti National Park. Enjoy quiet evenings by the camp fire and the exclusivity of absolute comfort combined with the authenticity of a night spent in the African bush, an extraordinary experience for all nature lovers.

Transfer to the airstrip for your flight to Manyara.  On arrival you will be met by your driver guides who will be with you for the next two nights.   

On the way to your accommodation for the night you will enjoy a game drive in the Manyara National Park and then continue to Gibbs Farm for check in.

Get up early to make the most out of your day in the Ngorongoro Crater.

Ngorongoro Crater is a deep, volcanic crater, the largest unflooded and unbroken caldera in the world, measuring about 20kms across, 600 meters deep and 300 sq kms in area. The high walls of the crater itself, serve as a natural enclosure for an abundance of wildlife. There is a large resident population of varied ground game with the very real chance of you being able to see the "big five'.  

Lunch today will be a picnic lunch after you will continue with your game drive before heading back to your lodge in the late afternoon.

This morning after breakfast you will drive back to Arusha  to connect with your international flight. 9 guests to Johannesburg  via Nairobi on KQ427/KQ764 departing at 1820 hours.  2 guests to  Paris via Nairobi on AF8004 /AF813 departing at 1820 hours.

You will be re-united with your luggage in Arusha.

Arrival Johannesburg 7th July at 12.15am. Private transfer to your hotel . Rooms have been booked for early check-in.

Meet  your guide  in the lobby at 11.00 am transfer to Soweto and the famous Lebo's Soweto where you will enjoy a traditional braai and Potjies. After lunch  experience Soweto as you move around visiting historical sites and going between neighbourhood to neighbourhood  meeting the local community and learning about daily life in Soweto .

Return to  your hotel  at the end of the tour.  At leisure.
