As soon as you land at Victoria Falls Airport, you will be able to hear Mosi-oa-Tunya - the smoke that thunders. This is the local name for this thunderously impressive wall of water. Settle in and, as you have the rest of the day at leisure, you can relax on the deck, enjoy sundowners, a colonial-era tradition. And this morning, an experienced, local guide is the perfect way to discover the majesty that is Victoria Falls. After your exploration of the Falls, a visit to the local arts and crafts market is the perfect way to browse and purchase a memento of this amazing day. You could also ‘fly with angels’ and see the falls from above! The Zambezi River which feeds the Falls has its own power and grandeur. In its deep, and seemingly slow-moving waters, and along its banks is another world entirely. A mellow, afternoon, sundowner cruise is the best way to immerse yourself in the river’s wildlife, birds and stunning sunsets. Later, back at your hotel, you can enjoy an evening of relaxation, lulled to sleep by the heartbeat of the Falls.
