Day 1: Kathmandu

Arrive in Kathmandu.

Warm welcome at the airport by our representative and transfer to the hotel.

Rest of the day at leisure.

Day 2: Kathmandu

Today explore Kathmandu and the Kathmandu Valley  where you will visit Boudhanath and Kathmandu Durbar Square. You will also visit a local school nearby Boudhnath. 

Boudhanath - One of the oldest and the biggest Buddhist monuments ever built in Nepal; furthermore it is one of the holiest Buddhist sites in Kathmandu. Boudhanath is an imposing structure standing some 36 meters. The Stupa stands on the massive three level mandala style platforms surrounded by colourful private family houses. 

Kathmandu Durbar Square: Kathmandu is the hub of Nepal's traditional culture and arts. This is the place for rest, relaxation and easy-day sightseeing of historic and artistic temples and monuments and mountain views. The Kathmandu Durbar Square holds the palaces of the Malla and Shah Kings who ruled over the city. 

In the afternoon your will have a chance to visit their local markets and take a rickshaw ride like the locals to an area called Thamel. 

Dinner at Kaiser Cafe, in the Garden of Dreams, one of the city's most romantic locations.

Day 3: Kathmandu, Bhaktapur

Today explore Bhaktapur. It is a conglomeration of pagoda and Shikhar-style temples grouped around a fifty-five-window palace of brick and wood. The square is one of the most charming architectural showpieces of the Valley as it highlights the ancient arts of Nepal.

For those looking for genuine Nepali experiences, Potters square will show you an authentic Nepali kiln along with potters at their wheels and oodles of clay ware being sun dried. 

For lunch you can try your hand at a cooking class in a local home in Bhaktapur.

Evening, visit to Pashupatinath Temple for Sandhya Arati & Interaction with SADHU.

Being one of the largest temples, Pashupatinath has been listed as the UNESCO World Heritage Site and is a very important pilgrimage site for Hindus. Among many of  the rituals happening in Pashupatinath, ‘Sandhya Arati ‘is the most soothing and amazing with many spiritual songs , which the priests perform every evening (1 hour ceremony).

Day 4: Chitwan National Park

Post breakfast transfer to Kathmandu domestic Airport for your flight to Bharatpur (Approx. 30 minutes Flight). 

Upon arrival check in at Bahari Jungle Lodge for your stay. 

After a lunch at the Lodge, in the company of an experienced interpreter , to enhance knowledge on the life of Tharu people,  enjoy a short village walk. This visit around the village on foot will help you experience the daily life of the village people
Duration – approx. -2 Hours

In the evening, one of the jungle experts will introduce background data and history of the Chitwan National Park as well as other topics relating to local wildlife.

Day 5: Chitwan National Park

You'll start your day with an early Jeep Safari crossing the Rapti River by Patela Boat. Jeep safari is the best way to experience the dense flora and vivacious wildlife of Chitwan as you pass through various habitats. 

In the afternoon, enjoy a boat safari & sundowner. Sail along the placid water of the Rapti River looking out for crocodiles and several wetland species.
Duration – approx. 2.5 Hours.

In the evening enjoy a Tharu Cultural Dance show, where farmers of the nearby villages will show some of their traditional skills and dances.

Dinner at Banyan Café or by the pool.

Day 6: Chitwan National Park

Wake up early to explore the jungle by foot. The jungle walk offers a great chance of spotting wildlife and is quite adventurous. Lunch will be set-up in a chosen scenic location.
Duration – Approx -7-8 Hours

Back to the lodge and relax by the pool for rest of the late afternoon or use the spa/couple massage room facility at the Lodge.

Dinner at the dining hall or by the pool.

Day 7: Chitwan National Park

Today, experience a morning boat safari for about 1 hour floating downstream the Rapti River, towards the western boundary of the park formed by Himalayan Narayani.

Return to the hotel for breakfast and rest of the morning at leisure.

After lunch, proceed for a second jeep safari in Chitwan National Park. Back to the lodge by sunset.

Day 8: Pokhara

After breakfast, transfer to Bharatpur Airport for your short flight to Pokhara. The gateway to the Himalayas, Pokhara is laid out alongside a lake with the snow capped views of the peaks jutting out beyond.

In the afternoon, you will visit the Barahi Temple which is the most important monument in Pokhara. Constructed almost in the center of Phewa Lake, this two-storied pagoda is dedicated to the boar manifestation of Ajima, the protector deity representing the female force of Shakti.

You’ll also get the chance to view a traditional Nepali handicraft in action - carpet weaving.

Day 9: Pokhara

Start your day with a Yoga Session at your Hotel.

After your breakfast, a driver will bring you to a starting point to hike from Dhampus to Melbot which is one of the most scenic and short hikes around Pokhara, offering panoramic views of the Annapurna Himalayas.

Dhampus besides being very close to Pokhara still retains much of its traditional culture and appearances. Stone paved trails with the thatched roofed stone house along its both sides provide magnificent view of the typical village setup.

On the way back visit Hemja Monastery, a unique Tibetan Monastery, to learn about the monks and their spiritual life.

Day 10: Pokhara

Today you’ll take a cruise on Begnas Lake in Nepal’s Kaski district, not far from Pokhara. From there, your guide will take you along a trekking route offering excellent views of the Annapurna range and panoramic views of the Pokhara valley, Phewa Lake and Begnas Lake (the hiking and boating duration takes around 3 hours).

At the excursion, you will be taken to World Peace Stupa in Pokhara.

World Peace Stupa is also known as Shanti Stupa, is a Buddhist pagoda style monument located on a hilltop overlooking the Phewa Lake. The Sanskrit word ‘shanti’ means peace and as the name goes, this pagoda is dedicated to world peace. Apart from stunning view of the mountains and lake, one can also enjoy a splendid view of sunrise and sunset from this stupa.

Day 11: Pokhara

Wake up early this morning for a once-in-a-lifetime experience - an Ultra Light flight. Flying with a trained instructor, you can enjoy breathtaking views of the Annapurna mountain range and Phewa Lake (The flight duration is 15 minutes).

Rest of the day at leisure to enjoy the hotel facilities or explore on your own.

Day 12: Kathmandu

Today, you will be transferred to Pokhara airport for your flight back to Kathmandu, which is a short 30-minute flight.

After a short relaxation at the hotel, you will be taken for sightseeing to Patan City.

Patan - The oldest of all the three cities of Kathmandu valley. It is the best known for its artistic heritage. The city is surrounded by 4 Stupas as 4 corners of Patan, one at each corner of its cardinal points. These stupas are said to have been built by the famous Emperor Ashoka. This is one of the  most elegant architectural treasures of which Patan is very proud. About the beauty of Patan, a western lady writer has to say this - "Patan means eternity itself and Patan Durbar Square is the spectacular sight of Asia indeed". The square is full of ancient places, temples, and shrines noted for their exquisite carvings. 

Here you’ll see the Kumari Living Goddess Palace - the residence of the Royal Kumari, a young girl believed to be the incarnation of the goddess Taleju.

This evening enjoy a traditional Nepalese dinner at the Krishnarpan Restaurant at the Dwarika Hotel.

Day 13: End of Itinerary

After breakfast at the hotel, you will be transferred to Kathmandu International Airport to connect your onward flight.
