Anjajavy: Another world

Welocme to Madagascar!

We will meet and greet you at  Ivato international airport to transfer you to your hotel. Depending on the arrival time, a short briefing on your stay will be done and then free activities .  In case of very late arrival, the briefing will be done the following day  before the start of tour.

Your day starts in Antananarivo, the capital of Madagascar. After breakfast at your hotel, you head towards the Rova of Ambohimanga, located approximately 25 km from the city center. This site, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site, is renowned for its history and profound cultural significance to the Merina ethnic group. 

You explore the ancient fortifications and royal palaces of the Rova, rich with legends and history. From its heights, you enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view of the surrounding countryside.

Following this insightful visit, you head back to Antananarivo for lunch at Vue Royale restaurant,  located on the hills overlooking the city. This renowned restaurant not only offers delicious cuisine but also provides a stunning view of Antananarivo and its surroundings, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the Malagasy capital.

After lunch, visit the Musée de la photo. 

If time permits and if you want, you can then visit some local shops or stroll around the area before returning to your hotel in the late afternoon to prepare for the next part of your journey.

This day marks the beginning of an extraordinary adventure to Anjajavy, a truly different world. You will be transferred to the airport where you will board your private plane bound for Anjajavy. The flight duration is 1 hour and 30 minutes. Take off from Tana at 07:00 and arrive at Anjajavy at 8:30, allowing you to settle in and enjoy the unique ambience of this unspoilt area. 

To start your exploration on a high note, a visit to the village is planned. Here, you will discover local traditions, interact with welcoming residents, and soak in the warm atmosphere of this coastal village.

In the evening, you will embark on a nocturnal forest walk. The darkness will reveal a mystical world where the sounds and tree silhouettes create a captivating and enigmatic atmosphere.

Today, you embark on a day of discovery aboard a boat, exploring the wonders of Moramba Bay. The calm water glistens under the morning sun as you navigate through this pristine natural sanctuary. Majestic cliffs stand proudly, while the crystal-clear waters reveal abundant marine life.

Your journey takes you through hidden caves, secluded coves, and pristine white sandy beaches. You have the opportunity to closely observe astonishing marine biodiversity, from colorful fish to graceful sea turtles peacefully navigating the waters.

This day at sea, complete with a picnic lunch, will remain in your memory as an unforgettable experience of natural beauty and serene tranquility.

Upon arrival at Antafiamoara, you will be greeted by the tranquil and pristine atmosphere of this enchanting place. For your last day in Anjajavy, you can choose from a variety of excursions by foot or nautical activities, or simply spend a relaxing day at the hotel.

To cap off your journey beautifully, a dinner awaits you on a rooftop in Tana, offering a panoramic view of the city and a unique atmosphere to savor the final moments of your trip.

Your last day in Antananarivo will be organized according to the schedule of your international flight.
