Upon your arrival at Windhoek Airport, you will be warmly greeted by an English-speaking driver. They will take you directly to the Craft Center in the city center, where you can take in your first impressions of Namibia. If you arrive before 10:00 AM, a light breakfast will be waiting for you there, ensuring a pleasant start to your day. Arrivals are possible until 1:00 PM at the latest; afterwards, the entire group will meet at the Craft Center. Together with your German-speaking tour guide and the other participants, the journey to the Kalahari begins at 2:00 PM.
The drive takes you south into the vast, red-gold landscape of the Kalahari Desert, a fascinating ecosystem that stretches across several countries in southern Africa. Despite its name, the Kalahari is not a typical desert; rather, you can expect a semi-arid savanna landscape characterized by red sand dunes, grassy plains, and scattered camel thorn trees. Sunrise in the Kalahari & Onward Journey to Sesriem

After breakfast, you'll continue your journey towards the Namib Desert, specifically to Sesriem, the gateway to the famous Sossusvlei. Exploring Twyfelfontein and onward to Etosha National Park
This morning, you'll enjoy an easy hike to the famous rock engravings of Twyfelfontein, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most important sites of prehistoric rock art in Africa. Over 2,500 animal depictions and symbols carved into the stone offer insights into the lives of early hunter-gatherers. Afterward, you'll admire the fascinating basalt columns known as the Organ Pipes, a geological feature formed by volcanic activity.
Your journey then continues toward Etosha National Park, where you'll arrive at your lodge on the park's edge. Relax and unwind around a cozy campfire as the day draws to a close and look forward to the safari adventures ahead.
On the trail of wild animals in an open off-road vehicle in Etosha National Park
Today you set off on a full-day game drive in an open 4x4 vehicle through the famous Etosha National Park. The name “Etosha” means “great white place” because of the massive salt pan that forms the heart of the park and is surrounded by vast savannah and bush landscapes. Thanks to the open vegetation, there are excellent opportunities for animal observation: with a bit of luck, you will spot elephants, giraffes, zebras, oryxes, and perhaps even lions or leopards, which prefer to hang out at the numerous waterholes. Your experienced guide knows the best animal sighting areas and brings you very close to nature with a sure instinct and expertise, always with the necessary respect and distance. Safari from West to Wild East across Etosha National Park
Today promises another exciting day in Etosha National Park. You'll travel through the park from west to east in a tour vehicle, embarking on a varied drive with numerous stops at waterholes and countless fascinating wildlife sightings. There's a good chance of spotting herds of elephants, zebras, wildebeest, antelopes, and perhaps even big cats. The landscape changes noticeably as you journey through the park, from open savannah to denser bushland, as each region has its own unique character and its own animal inhabitants.
In the afternoon, you'll exit the park through the eastern Lindequist Gate and continue towards Tsumeb. You can relax and unwind at your hotel for the rest of the day.
The History and Beauty of Waterberg
Today your journey takes you to the Waterberg region, a historical site linked to the Herero uprising against German colonial rule. A national park has been established on the Waterberg plateau, which rises 200 meters above sea level, reflecting on this inglorious chapter of history. A paradise has emerged from what was once a battlefield. After visiting Waterberg, you will arrive at your lodge in the late afternoon and can relax and enjoy the rest of the day in this breathtaking setting.

This morning, those who wish can participate in an optional rhino tracking excursion, where, with a bit of luck, you can observe these endangered animals up close. After this exciting experience, the journey continues back to Windhoek, with a stop at a charming woodcarving market where you can admire and purchase local artwork.
In the early evening, after an orientation tour of the capital, you will arrive at your accommodation. Your tour guide will bid you farewell after these eventful days and wish you a safe onward journey.
