High Plains Scuba - Buddy Dive Resort Bonaire Getaway

Meet with your transfer as you exit the airport for a quick ride to Buddy Dive Resort.

Check in the hotel and if there is time, complete your dive orientation, required by the government as part of the park rules. Once completed, 24/7 unlimited diving begins!

Spend the next 7 days truly doing as you please.

You have 6 boat dives included in your package diving with the group, which will be about the only thing where you need to be at a certain place at a certain time.

Divers often call Bonaire the island of diving freedom, because the majority of its more than 60 sites are accessible from shore and you can dive wherever and whenever the mood strikes. But we also love the freedom of being able to dive your own profile and for as long or short as you please. 

Buddy's house reef is an easy dive teeming with life. It also makes a great site to practice photography or diving skills, visit the coral nursery or dip in for a quick fluorescent night dive.

Towards the end of the week around the New Moon on May 7, if Mother Nature allows, an early night dive is a must to see the incredible Ostracods. We will speak with the experts at the dive center to see if conditions are right as timing must be perfect. There is a surcharge for this special dive, but it is an experience not to be missed!

Bonaire also boasts excellent snorkeling thanks to its shallow reefs and endless visibility. Topside, the island offers a variety of activities, primarily nature-based including kayaking, hiking or windsurfing.

You can take the truck to visit to the Donkey and/or Flamingo sanctuary or meander around the colorful capital where an array of fabulous restaurants await.

Unfortunately, it's time to bid farewell to Bonaire. 

The team will transfer you to the airport to begin your journey home. But take comfort - divers return to Bonaire time and time again, and we bet you will be one of them!
