Sightseeing in Hamburg - Visit the Christmas markets
After breakfast, we recommend taking a three-hour city tour through the Alster and Elbe metropolis with a local guide in English or in your language (based on availability). In addition to the Speicherstadt, Hafencity, and Elbphilharmonie, you can also see the city center around Jungfernstieg and Altersmarkt. The afternoon is at your disposal. We would be happy to organize tickets for your favorite musical (on request) or you can stroll through the Hamburg Christmas market. Let yourself be enchanted by the pre-Christmas spirit!
For lunch and dinner, we can offer a cozy restaurant next to the hotel or in the city.
- The largest Christmas market is in front of the impressive Rathaus with approx. 150 nice sales stalls
- You will also find beautiful Christmas markets in Mönckebergstrasse, Jungfernstieg and Spitalerstrasse, in the übersee district and at Gänsemarkt, at Stadthausbrücke and at Binnenalster.
- Holy Shit Shopping Christmas Market is a pop-up art and design market with over 300 stalls featuring unique crafts, clothing, jewelry and street food
Alternative Christmas markets in Hamburg If you are into a more unconventional and erotic Christmas market, visit Santa Pauli Christmas Market in Hamburg St. Pauli neighborhood by the lively Reeperbahn. It is obvious to visit this Christmas market when the others close because it lasts until late at night.

After breakfast, there are different things we would like to offer for the day.
1. Option:
For the ones who can't get enough of Christmas markets, we recommend a day trip to Lübeck. There you can visit the beautiful Christmas market, discover the city with a guide or on your own and we can also arrange a tour and coffee and cake in the famous Niederegger marzipan museum.
Ask for lunch or dinner in Lübeck as well and we will send our suggestions to you!
2.Option
Discover more in Hamburg, for example, the Miniaturwelt Wunderland, or visit Airbus, join a boat tour in the harbor or ask for our cultural options like musicals, operas, theater or museum tours. Also the famous Reeperbahn is always an absolute highlight with the hidden Christmas markets, bars and restaurants.
