After breakfast, transfer a short distance to Arusha Airport in time for the shared charter Safari Air Link flight departing to Katavi. On landing at Katavi airstrip, you will be met and transferred to Chada Katavi with a game drive en route.

Transfer to Katavi airstrip in time for the shared charter Safari Air Link flight departing to Mahale. On landing, transfer 1.5 hrs by boat to Greystoke Mahale where we will spend the next four nights.
Activities at Greystoke include chimpanzee treks, kayaking, forest walks and boating.

Transfer by boat to Mahale airstrip in time for your charter caravan flight via Mwanza to clear Tanzania immigration and onto Kigali Airport, Rwanda. On landing in Kigali, you will be met and transferred to Sabyinyo Lodge a drive of about 3 hours.

After an early breakfast, transfer at 6.00am to the park headquarters where you will be allocated your first gorilla family and start your trek through the farm lands into the rain forest (the time it takes to allocate the gorillas will determine on where they slept the night before). Spend a magical hour with the gorillas before you trek back to base where you will meet your driver/guide and transfer to the park headquarters for your certificate ceremony. Transfer to Sabyinyo Lodge in time for a late lunch and freshen up. Spend the rest of the afternoon at your leisure enjoying the facilities at Sabyinyo or visit the nearby village.

Transfer to the park headquarters for your second gorilla trek, you will be allocated a closer group today. After your trek, you transfer to Sabyinyo Lodge for lunch and freshen up followed by transfer to Kigali Serena Hotel arriving early evening. This evening you will be hosted for a local dinner in Kigali.
Overnight: Kigali Serena Hotel - Bed and breakfast basis
After breakfast, depart for a city tour of Kigali including a visit to the genocide memorial site, craft markets and lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, transfer to Kigali Airport and Depart Africa.
