Day 1: Cape Town

Arrive at Cape Town International Airport where you will  get a VIP escort and Fast Track through customs and Immigration before collecting your baggage. You will then be introduced to your guide and enjoy a private transfer to the Radisson Red, Cape Town / The Table Bay Hotel.

Spend the balance of the day at leisure.

Day 2: Cape Town

Breakfast at the hotel.

Your guide will meet you at your hotel in the morning for a Private Full Day Cape Town City Tour including Table Mountain.

• Ascend Table Mountain for unforgettable sweeping views (weather permitting).
• Return to the city and pass through the Malay Quarter.
• Drive past the Castle of Good Hope, Houses of Parliament and the Company Gardens.
• Travel to Sea Point and Camp’s Bay for scenic ocean vistas.

Return to the hotel and spend the balance of the day at leisure.

Day 3: Cape Town

Breakfast at the hotel.

Your guide will meet you at your hotel in the morning for a Private Full Day Cape Peninsula Tour. 

•    Travel at a pace that allows you to explore the beauty of the Cape Peninsula. 
•    Depart for the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve along one of South Africa’s most scenic routes, passing Hout Bay. 
•    Travel along Chapman's Peak Drive (conditions permitting). 
•    Visit the penguin colony at Boulders Beach. 
•    Continue to the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve.  
•    The scenery en route to Cape Point, at the South Western tip of the reserve, is particularly lovely in spring when wildflowers carpet the landscape.  
•    The new lighthouse – the most powerful in the world – beams an electric light of 19 million candle power across the ocean. 
•    Ascend to the top of by Funicular.

Return to the hotel and spend the balance of the day at leisure.

Day 4: Cape Town

Breakfast at the hotel.

Your guide will meet you at your hotel in the morning for a Private Full Day Robben Island and Footsteps to Freedom Walking Tour. 

The ferries depart from the Nelson Mandela Gateway at the V & A Waterfront. The tour takes 3.5 hours including the ferry trip to and from the Island.

You will disembark at Murray’s Bay Harbour situated on the east coast of the Island and take a short walk to a vehicle that will transport you to all the historical sites around the Island. On the way to the vehicle, you will pass buildings and a high wall built by prisoners during the 1960s. The buildings were used for family and lawyer visits to prisoners.

 The tour route includes the graveyard of people who died from leprosy, the Lime Quarry, Robert Sobukwe’s house, the Bluestone quarry, the army and navy bunkers and the Maximum Security Prison where thousands of South Africa’s freedom fighters were incarcerated for years. The tour culminates with a viewing of Nelson Mandela’s prison cell.

This afternoon,  you will meet with your specialist guide for Footsteps to Freedom Walking Tour.

The guide will lead you to some historical sites around Cape Town while describing Cape Town and her story.

Return to the hotel and spend the balance of the day at leisure.

Day 5: Franschhoek

Breakfast at the hotel, followed by check out.

Your guide will meet you at your hotel in the morning for your transfer to Franschhoek, via a Private Full Day Winelands Tour.

Our first stop will be at Waterford Wine Estate, situated in Stellenbosch for your wine drive safari

The Wine Drive Safari is a unique two to three-hour trip on our safari-type vehicle, through the 120-hectare Estate on the beautiful slopes of the Helderberg mountain. This experience allows you the chance to taste our award-winning Estate wines amongst the vineyards of their origin, and you will be expertly guided through all the aspects of what makes this area so biologically diverse and viticulturally unique.

The wine tasting will be accompanied with a handcrafted platter, which is well suited to pair with the individual wines. The experience will culminate with a tasting of The Jem and our Wine & Chocolate Pairing.

Enjoy lunch at your leisure. 

Experience the splendor of the Cape Winelands on board a Segway. Glide through the vineyards, breathe in the fresh air and savor the views of the Stellenbosch mountains. It’s an exhilarating, two-wheeled, battery-powered ride so you won’t work up a sweat. (1 hour trail)
