Day 1: Baños

Our driver will pick you up at your Quito hotel in the morning to transfer you south to Baños (approx. 4 hours journey).

Free time to become accustomed to your beautiful new surroundings. The rest of the day is at leisure to explore the town at your own pace. 

There is a whole array of potential activities to enjoy from trekking, biking, water rafting and canyoning to name but a few. The small town is also nice for a stroll around the park and main street where you can taste the local traditional streets called melcochas. 

Expert tips

The driver will stay at your disposal for the rest of the day in case you wish to visit any other tourist sites close to Baños.

Day 2: Baños

An incredible morning drive through the famous Valley of the Waterfalls. The Pailon del Diablo (in English known as Devil’s cauldron) is the largest and most spectacular of all, but the other smaller ones such as the ‘Manto de la Novia’ are also very impressive. You will have free time to explore the area, hike various trails through the lush green forests and takes photos where desired. You can also visit the famous Swing at the Edge of the world - if you are lucky you may also get a glimpse of the active Tungurahua Volcano!

There is also opportunity to visit the hot springs after which the town has been named.

Day 3: End of Itinerary

A full morning of adventure horseriding in the mountains around the town with some great views of the surrounding area.

Return to the town and some free time to relax before the return journey to Quito.
