The drive takes you past India Gate, Parliament House, the Secretariat Buildings, and Rashtrapati Bhawan (formerly the Viceregal Palace)—the imperial buildings of the Raj-era capital New Delhi.
Dive into the culinary heart of Old Delhi with Chef Dr. Rajeev Goyal, a renowned expert in Indian spices and flavours. Take a rickshaw ride through lively lanes to Khari Baoli, Asia’s largest spice market, where the air is filled with the scents of cardamom, cinnamon, and saffron. Visit Gulabchand Johri Mal, a 200-year-old attar (perfume) store, and discover the art of traditional Indian fragrances. End the day with a traditional dinner at Haveli Dharampura, a UNESCO-awarded heritage mansion, where every dish is a celebration of aromas and textures.



Enjoy a richly immersive, all-day experience at the Blossom Kochhar College of Creative Arts and Design. Led by Blossom Kochhar, a pioneer in aromatherapy, you’ll participate in hands-on workshops, learn about local plants used for aromatherapy, and enjoy a rejuvenating spa treatment using locally sourced essential oils. Lunch will be served at The Tea Room Café, run by Blossom’s daughter, Samantha, where you’ll savour old family recipes in the historic setting of Hauz Khas Village.

En route to Agra make a quick stopover at Fatehpur Sikri, the abandoned capital of Mughal emperor Akbar. A complex work of pavilions arranged in formal geometry it derives inspiration from Arab and central Asian tent encampments.

After breakfast, take part in a special workshop created just for us by local perfumer Neha Vij. Neha will guide us through the region’s aromatic legacy by drawing inspiration from our sunrise visit to the Taj Mahal.
We’ll explore raw materials once treasured by the Mughal court, rose, oud, jasmine, sandalwood, and more, and create our own signature perfume. Each guest will leave with a one-of-a-kind scent memory perfume to take home.
Later, travel overland to Kannauj, India’s historic perfume capital. On arrival, you will receive a traditional floral welcome and refreshments and check into your comfortable hotel.

After a short rest, we’ll discover how fragrant flowers are recycled into incense sticks—a practice deeply rooted in the region’s sustainable traditions. Our day concludes with a visit to the Archaeological Museum of Kannauj - the jewel in the crown. The archeological museum houses artefacts and sculptures dating back to 1500BC, a must visit.



Kannauj, the historic centre of Indian perfumery, is a place where history lives and the pace of life is leisurely and fragrant. It is a highlight for anyone who loves scent, history, and culture. Our host, Pranav Kapoor, an eighth-generation perfumer from one of the region’s oldest families, carries on the tradition of distilling attars. His deep knowledge of perfumery and culinary skills will enrich your experience throughout the day.
Start at the fragrant rose fields, where you can learn traditional cultivation and harvesting methods. This is the heart of Kannauj’s perfume industry. Then, visit the archaeological museum to explore the city’s rich history and perfume legacy.
Next, tour an ancestral distillation factory to see how flowers become essential oils and attars using time-honoured techniques. After this, join Pranav for a hands-on workshop to create your own signature fragrance.
Spend the afternoon wandering the narrow lanes of Bara Bazaar, where the scent of ittar lingers, and artisans keep the craft alive.
Finish the day with a Fragrance and flavour Dining Experience developed by Pranav. This creative seven-course meal pairs each dish with a freshly distilled perfume, blending local farm-to-table produce with global fusion flavours in a unique sensory celebration.



Continue to Lucknow, a city known for its refined culture and aromatic traditions.

Her deep understanding of regional foods and the role of scent and spice in daily life offers us a rich final lens through which to experience this storied city.
We’ll begin the day like locals do—with an early breakfast tasting regional specialities in the old city. It’s a quiet, immersive way to connect with the rhythms and flavours of Lucknow.
Afterwards, take time to explore the city at your own pace. Stroll through its historic markets, admire the architecture, and follow Anubhuti’s personal recommendations for food stops and hidden gems that locals love.
In the evening, we gather for a final, intimate dinner at a special location. The menu, created in collaboration with Anubhuti, features family recipes not found elsewhere, each dish crafted to highlight the aromas and ingredients that define Lucknow’s seasonal cooking.
