ARRIVAL TO SEPILOK
Upon arrival at Sandakan Airport, meet and transfer to Borneo Sepilok Rainforest Resort for check in. Stay overnight in Sepilok. *No Meals*

SEPILOK ORANGUTANS AND BY BOAT TO SUKAU
Pick up from Sepilok resort and transfer to Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre. Walk ten minutes through the rainforest on wooden boardwalks to witness the feeding of the orang utans at 1000hrs, and then we continue to the newly completed enclosed nursery area for young orang utans. Thereafter visit the Borneo Sun Bear Conservation Centre to learn about conservation of the world’s smallest bear.
Note on Camera Use at Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre:
For any camera with zoom lens from 100 to 400mm, video camera or other video recording equipment for personal use are chargeable at RM10.00 per unit. For any camera (fixed-lens - 400mm and above) or any film-making equipment are chargeable at RM1,000.00 per unit. Mode of payment is cash only.
After lunch, transfer to Sandakan jetty for 21⁄2 hours boat journey to the multi-awards winning Sukau Rainforest Lodge along Sabah's longest river, Kinabatangan with an opportunity to view birds and wildlife. Take an afternoon river cruise in search of wildlife and birds using a boat with a hybrid system of outboard and electric motor (depending on river current). Enjoy a scrumptious dinner overlooking the riverbank followed by slide presentation and interpretation by a naturalist guide.

Every boat for the river cruises are equipped with outboard engines and electric motors. With its clean and quiet operation, the electric motor will be turned on to maneuver the boat only during wildlife viewing (if location and river current permits). This way, you’ll be able to truly enjoy the wildlife experience without disturbing the peace and quiet of the natural surroundings.
KINABATANGAN RIVER WILDLIFE SAFARI
Take a 0600hrs morning river cruise up the Kinabatangan River to Kelenanap oxbow lake to view more birds and wildlife. After breakfast, proceed for an educational tour along the lodge’s Hornbill Boardwalk with our in-house naturalist. After lunch, join our in-house Orang Utan Talk activity. In the afternoon, we proceed for another river cruise for more wildlife.

KINABATANGAN RIVER WILDLIFE
Take an early Morning River cruise along the Menanggol River in search of wildlife. In the late afternoon, proceed for another evening cruise.
Return to Sukau Rainforest Lodge for overnight stay. (B/L/D)
TRANSFER FROM SUKAU TO DANUM VALLEY
0630HRS – Check out early and proceed 2.5 hours overland to Lahad Datu where we'll stopover for registration. Then continue to drive 83km to Borneo Rainforest Lodge which is surrounded by pristine virgin rainforests. In the evening a slide show and explore nature trail leading to canopy walkway. If weather permits, we go spotlighting to view some of the nocturnal animals.

DANUM VALLEY WILDLIFE
Spend the whole day exploring the forest for birds and mammals, leading up to an escarpment with ancient burial coffins. Trek to waterfall for a refreshing dip in rock pools. Return to lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, explore more trails.

Spend another full day at Borneo Rainforest Lodge in search of more wildlife.

DANUM VALLEY TO LAHAD DATU AIRPORT
Free at leisure until check-out. Depart back to Lahad Datu. Take the late afternoon flight ETD 1740HRS – RECOMMENDED DEPARTURE TIME back to Kota Kinabalu. (B/L)
