Day 1: Moremi Game Reserve

You will be met at Maun airport in the arrivals hall after clearing the entry formalities. We then fly up to the North West areas of Moremi called North Gate.  The flight will take about 30 mins  in a light aircraft which generally flies quite low so you can see some of the features and wildlife of this prime safari area.

As soon as we land we then begin our safari in Botswana with a game drive into camp.

Days 2 - 3: Moremi Game Reserve

Our days here around North Gate in our private camp site set away in a secluded area, will give us the chance to explore the beautiful wide open grassland areas of this part of Moremi along with the mature Mopane forests and the small pans and lagoons inside the woodland and along the Khwai River which forms the boundary between this area and the Khwai Community area. We will only be doing game drives here and each day starting at the very first light in the morning and ending at last light in the day when we will return to camp and enjoy the starlight skies and night sounds.

Day 4: Moremi Game Reserve

Today we will move camp and travel further East closer to the main Okavango Delta. This will be done on our open safari vehicle so you wont lose any safari time waiting for planes or flying. The plan would be to move the camp to either the Xakanaxa or Third Bridge areas which will be dependant on your request and campsite availability at time of booking.

Days 5 - 6: Moremi Game Reserve

These areas have a nice combination of riverine woodland, waterways and lagoons of the Okavango Delta, and some open seasonal floodplains. We will explore all these different areas by vehicle, doing the same plan as we did before, the key is to be flexible enough to decide on which areas we want to game view and our focus for that session or day depending on what is happening each day, and your interests.

Day 7: Moremi Game Reserve

Today a charter flight will take you over the Okavango Delta to an Island in the South of the Delta which sits on the edge of the Boro river, one of the main channels of the Delta. This will give you an excellent view of the Delta from the air and you get a sense of the multitude of small Islands and waterways as you fly. This flight will take about 20mins

Day 8: Moremi Game Reserve

Today you get to see the Okavango Delta from a very different perspective in that all of our game viewing while we are here will be from proper traditional mekoro's ( Canoes ) or on foot exploring one or two of the many Islands in this area. Its a very different perspective - very laid back and a nice way to get a complete Okavango Delta experience.
