Day 1: Cape Town

On arrival into OR Tambo International Airport (JHB) you will clear immigration and take your connecting domestic flight to Cape Town (2hrs).

In Cape Town you will be transferred to the Bantry Bay Hotel by private vehicle where you will spend the next 4 days exploring the region.

The rest of the day is yours to unpack, unwind and explore at your leisure.

Day 2: Cape Town

There is plenty to do in Cape Town to suit most interests.

The Bantry Bay Hotel is ideally located for all excursions in and around Cape Town.

Day 3: Cape Town

No holiday to Cape Town is complete without a trip up Table Mountain. You will ride a rotating cable car to 1067m above sea level where you will get to enjoy spectacular views of the city, it's mountains and beaches. There are several pathways which lead to lookout points. Enjoy an incredible sunset before you descend back down to the city and enjoy a night out in the town. Tickets can be arranged in advance to beat the queue.

You may prefer to take a ferry out from the V&A Waterfront to Robben Island, a museum and heritage site giving you insight into the country's political history. Visit the prison cell where Nelson Mandela spent 18 years of his life before becoming South Africa's first black president.

If you are feeling adventurous hike Lions Head to the top and paraglide back down onto Camps Bay Beach.

Day 4: Cape Town

Enjoy the flexibility the Hop on Hop Off Bus Tour offers whether it be a mini Cape Peninsula Tour, downtown city tour or combing either with a Constantia winelands tour.

Alternatively enjoy a full or half day Cape Peninsula Tour

Day 5: Franschhoek

Today you will be transferred by private vehicle to Mont Rochelle Hotel in Franschhoek, which is about an hours drive from Cape Town.

You will be based in the heart of the winelands where you will be able to explore some of the areas most beautiful vineyards, enjoy some of their award winning wines and dine at some outstanding restaurants. Your setting couldn't possibly be more picturesque.

Day 6: Franschhoek

Explore the many neighbouring wine estates and enjoy long lazy lunches. We would be happy to send you our top recommendations.

Wine tours can be enjoyed on horseback (for those who are adventurous) or via the Franschhoek Wine Tram. Alternatively a private driver can be arranged or one can use Uber.

Day 7: Franschhoek

Today you may like to visit Stellenbosch, the Cape's second oldest town, a 30 minute drive from Franschhoek. It is often referred to as the "City of Oaks" given the many 300 year old oak trees which line the avenues and shelter the historic mansions and stately homes. It is a university town which offers many restaurants and cafes as well as art galleries.

Enjoy a visit and picnic at either Vergelegen Wine Estate, Warwick or Boschendal.

Day 8: Londolozi Game Reserve

Today you will be transferred from Mont Rochelle Hotel to Cape Town International Airport in a private vehicle, where you will take a 2 hour domestic flight to OR Tambo International Airport (Johannesburg). From there you will take a charter flight on to Londolozi Varty Camp in Sabi Sands Game Reserve, Kruger National Park.

Day 9: Londolozi Game Reserve

Wake up to the sounds of Africa and enjoy the many activities provided, which include nature walks accompanied by an experienced armed ranger and twice daily game drives in open Land Rovers.

Enjoy the rich wildlife and home to the Big 5 (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo and rhino).

Enjoy luxurious accommodation, fine cuisine and exceptional service.


Varty Camp is the site of the original Sparta hunting camp, and a stay here has the feel of an old-time African safari holiday. The Camp décor echoes the tones of the owners’ private homes and reflects their ongoing love affair with the earth.

Today you will take your charter flight back to OR Tambo International Airport (JHB) where you will be transferred on to The Four Seasons Westcliff Hotel by private vehicle.

The rest of the day is at your leisure.

Day 13: Trou d'Eau Douce

Today you will be transferred by private vehicle to OR Tambo International Airport (Johannesburg) for your international flight to Mauritius.

Upon arrival you will be joined by a representative and taken to Shangri-La Le Touessrok Resort & Spa via seat and coach transfer (not private).
