This morning, you will be driven approximately 90 minutes to Manyara airstrip in time to catch your flight to Mwiba airstrip. On arrival, you will be met and driven about 15 minutes to the camp. Here you can enjoy game viewing on foot and in open vehicles as well as night drives, if you like. During the day you will have the opportunity to meet some of the Mang’ati and Maasai people who live in the surrounding areas. Alternatively take a walk to one of more than thirty natural springs found on the reserve and opt for sundowners in a game viewing blind overlooking a waterhole. This morning you will be driven to Mwiba Airstrip for your scheduled flight to Kogatende Airstrip. Upon arrival you will be met by your guide and driven 45 minutes to your camp. The western corridor of the Serengeti is a prolific area for game all year round and our camp is located here from mid May until the end of July. This coincides with rutting season so you can expect plenty of action as the strongest male wildebeests battle it out. Here the camp is located near the banks of the Mara River where great herds of wildebeest make the mighty crossing as part of the annual migration.
