Day 1: Windhoek

Welcome to Namibia!

Upon arrival at Windhoek Airport, you will pick up your rental car and proceed to Hotel Heinitzburg. The rest of the day is at your leisure after the long flight. It is recommended to visit the traditional Joe's Beerhouse for dinner.

Days 2 - 3: Solitaire

Today you start your Namibia round trip. Your first stop is in Sossusvlei where you will spend two nights. It is recommended to make an excursion to the red sand dunes in the Namib Naukluft National Park. The dunes in this area are among the highest in the world with a height of almost 400 meters and offer wonderful motifs for photo enthusiasts in the beautiful morning and evening light. All attractions around Sossusvlei are easy to reach, as the last 5 kilometers of the 65 kilometer drive to the vlei are paved.  For the last 5 kilometers there are shuttles available or you can drive your own 4x4 vehicle.

An attraction not to be missed is the picturesque Brandberg, Namibia's highest mountain, home to thousands of ancient rock paintings - most notably the White Lady.

Days 8 - 9: Etosha South

Today you will reach Etosha National Park. The next two days are free for game drives in your own vehicle. The national park is home to 4 of the Big 5.

Days 10 - 11: Etosha East

After breakfast, drive back into Etosha National Park and leave the southern region of the park and continue east to Mokuti Etosha Lodge. The days are again dedicated to game viewing in the tour vehicle.

Days 12 - 13: Otjiwarongo
