7 Day Midrange Kruger and Victoria Falls

Collection from any Guesthouse, Hotel or the OR Tambo Airport in Johannesburg in an air-conditioned vehicle as we travel via the Highveld farmlands to the Lowveld and to the Tremisana Lodge. On arrival, you have time to rest in your air-conditioned chalet, have a swim in the pool or unwind at the lodges bar. In the late afternoon, you board the open 4×4 safari vehicle for your first exciting Sunset Safari Drive with your qualified guide. The guide will facilitate the thrilling experience through the varied Fauna and Flora while watching the African Sunset. After darkness, we make use of powerful spotlights to locate the nocturnal animals that roam the African Bush. Dinner is a Bush Braai (BBQ) at the Marula Tree Boma situated deep in the Bush. Overnight in comfortable, air-conditioned en-suite thatch-roofed chalets.

We wake up before the sun rises and prepare for an exciting day out in the bush. After driving to a remote area, we begin the 4 hour walk out in the wild. With the experienced guide who will be joining you for the walk, you will enjoy a relaxed, completely unrushed walk. We spot the footprints of the larger animals that are known to roam the area and there will be plenty of time to take many pictures. After the walk, we head back to Tremisana for a delicious brunch and the afternoon will be spent relaxing at the lodge. You can also pay a visit to the game viewing hide at the Tremisana Dam. At around 15h30 we head off on a sunset drive in a game viewing vehicle where the driver will be in touch with other viewing vehicles out in the bush. We return to the lodge at around 19h30.

On this day we are in the Kruger National Park. We enter through the Orpen Gate in a comfortable open game viewing vehicle. These vehicles have no windows and plenty of space to see the animals that are in the park, making this the perfect vehicle from which to take many photographs. In these vehicles you will be able to hear all of the sounds of Africa while also taking in all of the unique smells. Throughout the day we will stop off at picnic spots and rest camps to enjoy snacks and to stretch our legs. On this day you will certainly be seeing plenty of wildlife. We will be travelling through the Orpen-Satara-Nwanedzi area, where spotting giraffe, zebra and other interesting animals is very common. This area is also well known for lion.

The day starts with a morning bushwalk as the sun rises. With the company of an armed ranger, you will explore the Kruger Park bush and learn all about vegetation and insects that are seen along the way. You might also encounter nyala, buffalo, and other game during the course of the walk. We return for breakfast before heading to the Blyde River Canyon and the Three Rondawels. After a day of touring, we return you to the Saba Lodge for a nights rest. 

Breakfast is served at the Saba Lodge, before being transfers to the OR Tambo Airport.

On arrival in Victoria Falls you will be met by our transfer driver who will transfer you to your hotel. There is time to check into your room before departing on a Sunset Cruise on the Zambezi River.
