Your safari begins on arrival at Kasane Airport, where you’ll be met by a Muchenje representative and transferred to Muchenje Safari Lodge, a 45-minute drive.

Enjoy a full-day safari encompassing a river cruise and a game drive along the Chobe River. The boat cruise offers exceptional wildlife viewing along the riverbanks and around Sedudu Island, where large numbers of elephants and Cape buffalo are commonly seen, often swimming across from the mainland. Lunch is served during the boat cruise. Afterward, continue with a game drive following the Chobe River.

Morning game drive followed by a community visit to the local village of Muchenje. This visit offers an opportunity to gain insight into daily life in a rural Botswana community, where you may observe the activities underway on the day of your visit — from clay bricks drying in the sun to household tasks such as laundry being carried out by the older girls.

You will be collected after breakfast for a 4x4 transfer to Ghoha Hills. The journey takes approximately 2.5 to 3 hours and follows a bumpy, sandy road, with much of the route passing through the wildlife-rich Chobe Forest Reserve. Your driver will make stops along the way.
Arrive at Ghoha Hills in time for lunch and a short rest, before an afternoon game drive in the northern region of Savuti.

You will be transferred to Savuti Airstrip for your charter flight to Jedibe. Upon arrival, a 40-minute boat transfer will take you to Setari Camp.

Setari Camp, with its year-round water, offers primarily water-based safari activities such as boating and mokoro (traditional dugout canoe) trips. Today may include a morning boat excursion and a visit to Jao Village by mokoro.
