For dinner, the private table set-up ensures you can enjoy your meal from any place you desire. It´s all possible at Stanley Safari Lodge. The European-style cuisine with an African twist will make sure it will meet your appetite.

This morning enjoy a tour of the Victoria Falls. The majority of the tour takes place on the other side of the gorge, which is the best for photographic reasons. The best seasons to see the Falls are roughly mid June to mid September (start of the dry season) or mid November to mid January (start of rainy season). Between mid January and mid June the Falls are at its highest, which also means the spray is enormous and part of the view is blocked. Mind your cameras, because you will get wet! As for mid September to mid November, those are the hot dry months and the Falls do dry up to a certain extent. During the months when the spray is big and its full moon, the lunar rainbow is visible. It can be quite spectacular to see a rainbow at night! Usually this phenomena occurs from mid June to mid September and mid January to mid April.

Activities at Savuti Safari Lodge are centered around game drives throughout the Savute area in open 4x4 safari vehicles. Many trips will incorporate a visit to the Savute Marsh for your chance to see the historic presence of the Savute Channel at the marsh against a teeming backdrop of wildlife. Guests will also enjoy a visit to the ancient San rock paintings at Gubatsa Hills – a small hilly outcrop which forms a remarkable landmark in the otherwise flat landscape.
Savute lays claim to the second biggest summer zebra migration in Africa, which is determined by the rains but usually occurs between November and December and again between February and April when the zebras move from the rivers in the north in search of the rain-ripe grasslands and full waterholes in the southeast of the park. Often followed by a myriad of predators, the zebra migration is a must for visitors.
