Day 1: Adelaide Hills

On arrival in Adelaide you are met and transferred by private car to the Adelaide Hills and your accommodation.  We suggest that you dine in-house this evening.

Mount Lofty House is home to 3 Hatted Hardy's Verandah Restaurant, one of the country's TOP 20 restaurants. Enjoy our seasonal 2 to 7 course degustation style menu that combines head chef Jin Choi's Asian heritage with the beauty of local produce.

Day 2: Adelaide Hills

Today you explore the Adelaide Hills and Barossa Valley.  Your guide can tailor the day to suit your wine preferences.

Travel to Penfolds Magill Estate Winery which is nestled in the foothills of Adelaide.  The winery exudes the charm and character of its founders, whose pioneering spirit brought their family name into the homes of the Australian people more than 150 years ago and inspired the creation of Australia's greatest wine, Penfolds Grange.  Here you will tour the winery and have the opportunity to taste some of the wineries premium wines (excluding Grange).

You then travel north to the well-known heart of Australian winemaking, The Barossa Valley.  The Barossa is Australia's best-known wine region.  Comprised of the Barossa Valley and Eden Valley, it is home to some of the oldest shiraz vineyards in the world, acclaimed rieslings and iconic wine brands.  This gourmet lover's paradise is enriched in a strong cultural heritage reflected in its wine, food, buildings and people.

Enjoy lunch in a winery setting where you can enjoy the region's distinctive cuisine and wines.

Day 3: Adelaide Hills

Continue your wine touring by travelling to the McLaren Vale region. 

McLaren Vale is one of Australia’s renowned wine regions, famous for producing some the best wines in the world with over 76 cellar doors.  The area is only minutes away from the stunning coastline and beaches that influence the lifestyle, culture and primary production.  McLaren Vale not only produces some of Australia’s finest shiraz wines but also is well respected for its olive and almond production.

Today is very flexible and your guide will discuss and tailor your programme to suit your specific interests.  Some of the wineries of note you may visit are D’Arenberg, Coriole, Chappell Hill, Fox Hill and Wirra Wirra wineries. 

Lunch will be enjoyed again at a winery.

You are returned to your accommodation later in the afternoon.

Day 4: End of Itinerary

Today you return home.

You are transferred to the Adelaide Airport to connect with your homebound flight.
