Early check out, transfer to airport and fly from Cape Town to HDS airport. Here you will be collected and transferred to the Lodge by road. Check in and settle in to the lodge. Tea followed by an afternoon game drive and then dinner back at the Lodge.
Today an early start will take you on a dawn game drive. Then a brunch back at the lodge and relaxing during the day. Regroup for high tea and afternoon game drive. Dinner in the Boma tonight.
Two game drives a day are offered to all our guests. Accompanied by a skilled ranger and tracker, you can expect to encounter a diverse range of animal and bird species. Since this is a Big Five reserve, encountering lion, leopard, elephant, rhino and buffalo is possible over a three-day safari.
While seeing big game is always exhilarating, there are many other smaller species that are also captivating, and birding enthusiasts will be delighted at the approximately 350 species of bird recorded on the reserve. Throughout the day, it’s likely you will see wildlife such as nyala antelope, Vervet monkeys or even a few of the Big Five.

Another terrible day in Africa! More safari, similar to yesterday. You never know what you might find today...We start as usual with a dawn game drive. Brunch back at the lodge and relax during the day. Tea and afternoon game drive. Dinner back at the Lodge tonight.

05:30 tea, coffee and rusks in dining room
06:00 depart
07:30 stop for hot drinks and snacks
09:00 return to lodge for a full breakfast
