Day 1: Victoria Falls (Zimbabwe)

After clearing immigration and entry formalities you will be met in the arrivals hall and then transferred  to the lodge where you can settle in and enjoy the fabulous view over the surrounding bush. 

You will have time this afternoon to get straight down to the Victoria Falls and enjoy this incredible spectacle of nature and at this time of year the water will be very high making the Victoria Falls even more special to see.

Day 2: Southern Hwange National Park

Your transfer to Hwange this morning is timed to leave after breakfast and then get you through to the camp in time for lunch. Your route there takes you to the main entry point to the park along a good paved road from the Falls and you will then change over into a safari vehicle for the journey to the camp on dirt roads, passing along some excellent game viewing areas so make sure you have your cameras and binoculars ready.

Days 3 - 4: Southern Hwange National Park

Hwange National Park is home to one of Africa's largest populations of Elephant and this camp is excellent for seeing and being with these incredible animals.

Apart from the elephants there is also an excellent diversity of other species like giraffe, buffalo, wildebeest, sable, roan, cheetah, and lions and your guides who know this area will be able to give you the best opportunities to see these animals and you will have the added advantage of being able to do night activities so you can see some of nocturnal species like Civet, Porcupine, Genet and perhaps watching some of the big cats hunting.

Day 5: Mana Pools National Park

Today you fly from Hwange across the Western side of Zimbabwe and then into the Rift Valley and Mana Pools. You will be met at the airstrip and your Mana Pools Game viewing starts right away on the way to the camp. The Camp is right on the edge of the Zambezi River on the heart of the Mana Pools Flood Plain.

Days 6 - 8: Mana Pools National Park

Mana Pools is often rated as one of the best safari destinations in Africa and you will have 4 nights here with expert safari guides. The best way to get the most from Mana Pools is to do a combination of game drives and bush walks in this amazingly beautiful wildlife area. Its very well known for its Wild Dog population and a host of other species like Hippo, Buffalo, Waterbuck, Impala, Eland, Greater Kudu, Lion and Elephant.

Day 9: End of Itinerary

Your flight today back to Harare will be timed to suit your International Flights.
