Days 1 - 2: Victoria Falls (Zimbabwe)

Upon your arrival at Victoria Falls international airport you will be met and transferred to the "Victoria Falls Safari Lodge" where you will spend the next two nights. 

Day 1

Arrival and day/night at leisure to enjoy the amenities of the lodge. The lodge is Overlooking a waterhole offering guests the opportunity to view a variety of wildlife including elephant, buffalo, kudu, waterbuck, impala as well as a large number of bird species. Game may be seen at the waterhole from the comfort of the lodge’s viewing deck, pool deck, fitness room or over drinks or a meal at the Buffalo Bar and MaKuwa-Kuwa Restaurant.

Day 2

Today you will enjoy a Victoria Falls day tour.

Zambezi River Sun downer - Sit back, relax and soak up the last rays of the African sun as you gently drift along the Zambezi River above the Falls with a gin and tonic in hand and enjoying delicious snacks. Look out for elephant, hippo, crocodile, magnificent birds and other wildlife.

Tonight enjoy a  Boma dinner.

Days 3 - 5: Hwange National Park

Sat. 9 May 2020 - Mon. 11 May 2020

Your next move will be transfer by car from Victoria falls to Hwange National Park. Over the next 3 days you will enjoy daily game drive(s) as well as time to be spent in the lodges "sit in hide" by the waterhole, which allows you to get up close and personal with the animals as they stop by for a drink.

Day 3

Transfer from Victoria Falls to your new lodge "The Hide". Tonight you will be able to enjoy a night game drive.

Day 4 - 5

Enjoy morning and night game drives in Hwange National Park.  In the expert hands of The Hides guides, you’ll find yourself heading out through the acacia-fringed grassy vleis and through the teak forests in search of Hwange’s Big Five. Game drives are the best way to see the variety of wildlife and scenery of the park and they almost always yield unexpected sightings.

Days 6 - 8: Matusadona National Park

Tue. 12 May 2020 - Thu. 14 May 2020

Following Hwange National Park you will be transferred to the nearest airstrip to catch a flight to Matusadona National Park. Here there are a varied range of exciting and relaxing activities to choose from including both morning and afternoon game drives, fishing for the famed fighting Tiger fish and stunning game walks on the concession with an experienced and knowledgeable guide.

Day 6

Upon your arrival at Changa Safari Camp in Matusadona National Park you will be able to settle into your new rooms and enjoy a evening Sun downer.

Day 7 - 8

You will have the option of morning and afternoon game drives - Using a open game vehicle is the perfect way to discover the area, providing a fantastic opportunity to see a variety of game, including lion, cheetah and elephant whilst taking in the beautiful scenery. 

Boat safaris - If you are interested in birding, then our boat cruise is perfect for you as it will provide a different vantage point to get up close and personal to numerous species of birds.

Walking safaris - Walks are best in the early mornings or late afternoons when it is not too hot.

Days 9 - 11: Mana Pools National Park

Fri. 15 May 2020 - Sun. 17 May 2020

Your next adventure awaits in Mana Pools National Park. You will be transferred to the nearest airstrip to catch a flight over to Mana Pools where you will be staying at "John's Camp" for the next 3 nights. here you can enjoy game drives, bush walks and fishing. 

Day 9

Today you will arrive at your new accommodation with time to settle in and enjoy the amenities of your camp. 

Day 10 - 11

Over the next two days you will experience daily game drives or bush walks - Mana Pools is home to a wealth of mammals, birds, and more! Four of the Big Five are in residence – lion, leopard, elephant, and buffalo – as are other predators such as cheetah, hyena, and wild dog, in addition to herbivores including zebra, eland, impala, waterbuck, and warthog.

Fishing excursions -The camp’s fishing is land based and strictly catch and release, with a daily bag limit of five bream.

Days 12 - 14: Gonarezhou National Park

Mon. 18 May 2020 - Wed. 20 May 2020

Your final destination on this wonderful adventure is Gonarezhou National Park. Here, you will be staying at "Chilo Lodge" where you can enjoy morning and night game drives or full day game drives with a picnic lunch. 

Day 12

Today you will arrive in Gonarezhou National Park by plane from Mana Pools. you will be transferred from the airstrip to your new accommodation "Chilo Lodge". 

Day 13 -14

Over the next two days you will be able to experience game drives your way, with the option of full day excursions that include a picnic lunch. 

This is a country of red sandstone, thorny scrub and baobabs. Buffalo gather at watering holes, big cats prowl silently in pursuit of painted impala, hippo wallow midstream attended by squadrons of fluttering birds. The presence of elephants is everywhere; on the earth and the vegetation, as their families travel along routes passed from one matriarch to another in search of food, safety, and water.

Day 15: End of Itinerary

Thu. 21 May 2020

After taking in the sights and sounds of Africa for the last time you will be transferred to the airstrip to fly to Johannesburg, here you will board your international flight home or, if you've chosen to, continue on to Mozambique or elsewhere.
