After an early breakfast, you will set off on a relaxed 3.5-hour drive to Umani Springs Lodge, your home for the next 2 nights.
Umani Springs is one of the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust’s elephant reintegration sites, where elephants graduate from the Nairobi Nursery. This exclusive experience allows you private access to the elephants, their keepers, and a tranquil, lush home. You’ll enjoy morning and evening visits to the elephant stockades, witness the 11am mud bath sessions, and unwind with stunning sundowners at the Umani Springs deck.

You will spend this full day at Umani Springs enjoying the luxurious, tranquil, and inspiring surroundings. You will visit the Umani Springs stockade for the morning and evening elephant feeding as well as the religiously scheduled 11AM mud bath all of which are within walking distance
Today, we will drive back to Nairobi, where you will be transferred to Wilson Airport for an optional safari extension, or we can arrange a day room near the airport if you’re flying home. We are flexible and would be happy to have you spend more time with us, whether before or after this unique behind-the-scenes elephant experience.
