Day 1
Arrival in Windhoek
You’ll be met at the airport and driven to your accommodation in Windhoek, the "Am Weinberg Boutique Hotel", which offers everything for a relaxing stay. You can recover from the long flight, take a refreshing dip in the swimming pool, or let yourselves be pampered in the wellness area. With the rest of the day at your leisure you might still have time to take a stroll through Namibia's capital. At sunset, it is worth having a drink in the Sky Bar, from where you have a beautiful panoramic view of the Klein Windhoek district.

Day 2
Direction Otjiwarongo
You’ll be picked up at the hotel and taken to pick up your rental vehicle before driving north to Okonjima, the headquarters of the AfriCat Foundation. The lodge, and the comfortable, detached bungalow that awaits you, is in a 22,000-hectare private nature reserve in the middle of the Omboroko Mountains. You are already expected for lunch and a game drive is booked for you in the afternoon, during which you’ll go in search of a leopard and Africat’s projects with both leopards and hyenas will be explained to you. Round off the evening with a delicious dinner.

Day 3
Grootfontein
Along your journey northwards, you can visit the Hoba meteorite, which is the largest known meteorite in the world, weighing an estimated 60 tons. Your accommodation tonight is located in a very extensive game and nature reserve. The guest farm offers a comfortable stay in a typical Namibian atmosphere, amidst ancient tree-covered dunes. In the afternoon you can relax by the swimming pool and enjoy an aperitif at sunset.

Day 4
Into the Caprivi
Today you enter the most densely populated part of Namibia, the Okavango. On the way, you’ll see picturesque round huts inhabited by the local Kavango tribe. The Divava Okavango Lodge is situated under shady trees directly on the banks of the Okavango, just a few kilometers from the Mahango National Park. In the afternoon, you will go on your own game drive in this interesting park, which is rich in wildlife.

Day 5
East Caprivi
You cross the Okavango and continue through the Bwabwata National Park to Nambwa Tented Lodge. Here ‘pure Africa’ awaits you with dense bush and deep sandy tracks. The comfortable lodge, which is situated under high camel thorn trees, is the only one with a concession in a national park in this area of Namibia. As it is situated on one of the large floodplains of the Kwando River, you’re spoiled for choice here and in the afternoon you can either take a boat trip on the Kwando or a game drive in the park.

Day 6
Bwabwata National Park
Today you go on a game drive in the Bwabwata National Park where elephant sightings are almost guaranteed as the region around the Kwando River is considered to have the highest concentration of them in southern Africa. The landscape around the Horseshoe is particularly interesting, and back at the lodge, you can relax and enjoy its typical African atmosphere or take another boat trip. Fishing, guided bush walks, and a visit to a traditional village and craft market are also on offer.

Day 7
To the Chobe River
You continue via Katima Mulilo to Kasane in Botswana, where a representative from Zovu Elephant Lodge is waiting to take you on a short boat trip to the lodge, situated on the Namibian side of the Chobe River. Looking out over the floodplains, the lodge's exceptional location, and its luxurious villas, which all offer an unrestricted 180-degree view over the Chobe River and the Chobe National Park, allows a glimpse of ‘untamed Africa’. In the afternoon you get to experience your first boat cruise.

Day 8 & 9
Chobe National Park
You have two days to relax and enjoy the luxury of the lodge. In the morning, a game drive in the Chobe National Park or a boat trip is offered, and, in the afternoon, there are two different boat trips to choose from. The abundance of wildlife, including various antelopes, buffaloes, hippos, elephants, and crocodiles in this almost tropical landscape is impressive, while, for bird lovers, this area is a paradise, with over 400 different species counted. A day trip to Victoria Falls to see the famous waterfalls can be organized (at an extra charge).

Day 10
Drive to Nata
You continue your journey south to Nata Lodge, an oasis under Mokolwane palms on the edge of the salt pans. The lodge is situated near the entrance to the Nata Game Reserve, a junction between the Okavango, Chobe, and Francistown. This area combines a variety of salt pans and vast grass plains interspersed with palm islands and forms the Great Makgadikgadi. In the afternoon you can visit the Nata Bird Sanctuary (optional).

Day 11
To the Makgadikgadi National Park
Your next stop is right on the border of the famous Makgadikgadi Salt Pans National Park. Far from any tourist trails, Leroo La Tau Lodge is beautifully nestled on the banks of the Boteti River, with luxurious thatched-roof chalets built on cliffs, and fitted with a glass front allowing an unrestricted view of the river and nature. In the afternoon, you can go on a game drive in the lodge's open-top off-road vehicle, during which you may encounter lions, zebras, wildebeests, impalas, and kudus. Leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, caracals, and genet cats could also be spotted.

Day 12
On the Boteti River
The day is yours to enjoy the luxury of the lodge. You can choose to indulge in a sumptuous breakfast or go on another game drive early in the morning, where you’ll hopefully come across herds of wildebeest and zebras and experience the areas’ lively meerkats up close. Guided walks and boat trips on the Boteti (depending on the water level) are also on offer. There is also the chance to go on a night game drive after dinner to try to spot some elusive, nocturnal animals. In the evening, you can also admire the clear southern sky and the millions of stars stretching from horizon to horizon without any disturbing light influences.

Day 13
To Maun / Moremi Wildlife Resort
You reach the lively town of Maun and experience ‘pure Africa’, where not only people, but also goats, cattle, and donkeys roam the streets. A special highlight awaits: the fly-in safari to the Moremi Wildlife Resort in the Okavango Delta! among the richest wildlife areas in the world. The luxurious Okuti Camp, designed in the style of an African village, is situated on the northern edge of the Moremi Park on the Maunachira River, a tributary of the Okavango. From here you can explore the Okavango Delta by boat and the Moremi Park by open-top safari vehicle, looking out for buffalo, giraffe, elephant, and numerous smaller animal species. Predators such as lions, cheetahs, and the shy leopard can also be seen.

Day 14
Moremi Wildlife Resort
Today you can explore the 4,872 km2 Moremi Game Reserve. Considered one of the most beautiful and diverse nature reserves on the entire continent, it covers about a third of the Okavango Delta and stretches in a tongue shape from the northeast over the Mopane Tongue and Chief's Island deep into the western delta. You can go on game drives in the park, to Third Bridge, or just explore the surrounding area, as there are so many animals to see. For the adventurous, there are some places that can only be reached via rickety pile bridges.

Day 15
Okavango-Delta
Today you fly from Okuti Camp to Kanana Camp, enjoying the view of the delta from above. Kanana Camp is situated on the Xudum branch of the Okavango, in the southwest of the delta, a special natural paradise with many grass and palm-covered islands. You’ll spend two wonderful days here in spacious, luxurious tents, or even get to spend a night under the open sky on a sleeping platform! The camp is a water paradise and offers water-based activities as well as game drives and guided walks. It is even possible that you’ll see lions, hyenas, or a leopard very close by.

Day 16
Okavango-Delta
Experience the fascinating landscape and nature up close with the incomparable variety of animals that live on the water surface, wetlands, and islands. Depending on the water level, safaris are offered on land, but typically on water. You can take a boat trip in a mokoro, a type of canoe that is widely used in the Okavango Delta, where locals drive them along using long poles and strong arms to push them forwards. As you glide leisurely along one of the numerous waterways, animals such as antelopes, elephants, buffaloes, lions, crocodiles, and many indigenous bird species can be observed.

Day 17
Into the Kalahari
You return to Maun today by small plane and continue your tour by rental car, driving via Ghanzi to the Mamuno-Buitepos border post where you leave Botswana and re-enter Namibia. Your destination today is Kalahari Bush Breaks. Built amid untouched and unique nature, the lovingly furnished rooms all have small African details. With the lodge known for its good barbecues around the campfire, you’ll have some time to relive your amazing trip before going to bed.

Day 18
Departure
Unfortunately, your safari adventure comes to an end today. Enjoy one more African sunrise before heading back to Windhoek, where you return your rental car and take a transfer to the airport.
