Day 1: Lima

Upon arriving in Lima, you will be picked up and taken to your hotel.

Our representative will give you a documentation kit with detailed program explanation.

Luggage and hotel registration assistance will be offered.

Day 2: Lima

Half day private City Tour

You will visit the tourist district of Miraflores, and see the Pacific Ocean from the Love Park. The tour continues with the modern suburb of San Isidro and a visit to the pre-Inca pyramid of Huaca Huallamarca.

Then, you will visit the Historical Center: Plaza Mayor ("Main Square"), the Government Palace, the Archbishop's Palace, the City Hall and old streets with colonial mansions and Moorish balconies. The visit also includes Santo Domingo Convent, an icon of colonial architecture, which was completed in the late stages of the sixteenth century and has been restored recently.

It has an ancient crypt where the relics of Peruvian saints such as Saint Rose of Lima and San Martin de Porres lie. Later on, you will have a tour of the Archbishop’s Palace, a beautiful building with thirty rooms, in which 16th-19th century art works, genuine heritage of the Catholic Church, are on display. In the meanwhile, you will watch the changing of the guard at the Government Palace from one of the wood carved Neo-classical balconies on the building’s façade. Finally, you will visit the Cathedral, the stage upon which the most important events in the lives of Lima residents used to take place and the oldest building in the capital.

HALF DAY PRIVATE MATE MUSEUM AND COCTAIL CLASSES IN BARRANCO

You will leave your hotel and head to Barranco, Lima’s most bohemian and artistic district. Experience the luxury and art that inundated the streets of Barranco. You will visit MATE, the Mario Testino Museum. Founded in 2012 by the famous Peruvian photographer, this museum tries to approach national art and culture to the world, as well as bringing the best international work to Lima.

Then, you will head to Hotel B -a luxurious boutique hotel in the heart of Barranco- where you will learn to prepare cocktails, guided by an expert bartender. Finally, you will return to your hotel.

Day 3: Cusco

At due time, transfer from hotel to Lima airport for your flight to Cusco.

Visit to the city of Cusco, also called the Imperial City, and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The excursion starts at Koricancha temple, an ancient Inca palace and centre of worship of the sun god, on the site of which the Dominicans ordered a church to be built, which survives to this day.

Then to the Main Square, where you will visit the cathedral, the most important religious building in the city. The climb continues to Sacsayhuamán fortress, an impressive example of Inca military architecture. Then to Kenko, where the sun, moon and stars were worshipped. Next: a visit to Puca-Pucara, which may have been a "tambo" or rest and lodging place for the Inca.

Finally, a visit to the Inka¿s Expression art workshop, where you will be able to see artists working in silver, paint and wood -the perfect place to see Andean art.

Day 4: Cusco

Take part in a short course, where you will learn different things regarding Peruvian gastronomy. Learn about its history, its concepts and tropical fruit species, have a taste of delicious Andean food and traditional cocktails like pisco sour and chilcanos. Finally, you will learn how two of the most traditional Peruvian dishes are prepared: Ceviche and Lomo Saltado, which will be prepared with alpaca meat. During the activity, the chefs will offer you some Novoandina food snacks, such as guinea pig, stuffed potatoes, causas, among others.

HALF DAY TOUR TO MUSEUM OF PRE-COLOMBIAN ART WITH DINNER

This outing takes you to Plaza de Las Nazarenas, specifically the Museum of Pre-Colombian Art that operates out of a Cabrera House, which was constructed on Incan foundations. Its exhibits feature the best examples of Peru’s Pre-Hispanic artworks. You will end the visit either eating dinner at the MAP Café, one of the best gourmet

Day 5: Machu Picchu Pueblo

FULL DAY TOUR TO OLLANTAYTAMBO /MARAS & MORAY (Lunch included)

A full day excursion to enjoy some highlights in Urubamba, the Sacred Valley of the Incas. It starts by a visit to the the excursion continues to the Maras salt mines, which were constructed in the slope of a mountain in Pre-Incan times.

Lastly, we will go to the huge agricultural terraces of Moray, built in natural holes in circular form, and used as a botanical lab by the Incas. Then, the tour goes on to Ollantaytambo, where you will enjoy the panoramic view of the most ancient and continuously occupied village in the American continent, and visit the amazing Ollantaytambo Fortress, built by Inca Pachacutec in the XVIth century. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant.

Day 6: Cusco

GUIDED TOUR TO MACHU PICCHU (lunch not included)

A visit to one of the most important tourist destinations in the world: Machu Picchu. The excursion starts with a train trip to the town of Aguas Calientes, also known as Machu Picchu Pueblo. The natural beauty of the surroundings makes the train the best way to start your visit. When you arrive, you will start the ascent to the ruins, which will without a doubt be one of your most unforgettable experiences. At Machu Picchu, you can see one of the Seven Modern Wonders of the World and take some impressive photos. Then it is back down to Aguas Calientes for lunch in a local restaurant. Finally, you board the expedition train for the return journey and transfer to your hotel.

Day 7: Andean Explorer, A Belmond Train, Peru

At due time, transfer from hotel to Cusco train station.

Departing from Cusco in the morning, crossing the Altiplano towards Puno and discovering the brilliant beauty of Lake Titicaca. Visit the Sumbay Caves, which house the rock art of the first humans who inhabited the Peruvian sierra, before arriving at the volcanic "White City" of Arequipa.

Day 9: Colca Canyon

Disembarkation for Colca extension (end of services by Andean Explorer train)

You will arrive to the Colca station in the Bemond Andean Explorer train. Upon your arrival, you will be transferred to the hotel, where you will enjoy a delicious lunch. Then, you will have the afternoon at leisure to enjoy the hotel’s facilities.

Day 10: Colca Canyon

it- you will get the chance to observe the majestic flight of the condors. On your way back, you will visit the colorful towns of Pinchollo and Maca, before arriving at Chivay, where you will have lunch.

Then, you will have the afternoon at leisure to enjoy the hotel’s optional activities or to take a walk through the Uyo Uyo ruins. Finally, you will return to your hotel in Arequipa to enjoy dinner and rest.

Day 11: Arequipa

You will visit the town of Coporaque, where you will wlak towards the San Antonio ruins. Then, you will go through the Chivay Indian Market, before returning to the city. Afterwards, you will enjoy a delicious lunch in Chivay before leaving for Arequipa, stopping in Patapampa along the way, where you will observe 8 volcanoes at 360°. Finally, you will return to your hotel in Arequipa.

Day 12: Arequipa

This tour starts in the Main Square, which is surrounded by the city's most representative buildings. This is followed by a visit to the Jesuit church, the oldest and most important example of religious architecture employing sillar. You then continue through the classical districts of Carmen Alto and Yanahuara, including a visit to the famous vantage point with its spectacular views of the volcanoes Misti, Chachani and Pichu Pichu, as well as the city of Arequipa itself. Then on to Santa Catalina Convent, founded in 1580, with its cloisters, picturesque streets and plazas that remain the same as they were centuries ago. You will also learn about the lives of the select group of nuns who lived there.

Day 13: End of Itinerary

At due time, transfer from hotel to Arequipa airport for your return flight to Lima.

Upon arrival, visit the Larco Museum, which showcases remarkable chronological galleries providing an excellent overview on 3000 years of development of Peruvian pre-Columbian history.

You will find there the finest gold and silver collection from Ancient Peru and the famous erotic archaeological collection, one of the most visited Peruvian tourist attractions.

After the visit enjoy the best of Peruvian gastronomy in the magical environment of its cozy restaurant.

Afterwards, transfer back to Lima airport for your International flight back home.
