After breakfast, departure for a hike in the Montagne d'Ambre National Park.
Renowned for its brookesia, the world's smallest chameleon, crowned lemurs, mangosteens and primary forests, Montagne d'Ambre is situated at an altitude of 1,475 m and is therefore the only humid zone in the Diana region, like an oasis in the middle of a semi-arid region. The park is one of Madagascar's well-irrigated areas, with a rainfall of around 3,585 mm, and is characterized by wilderness, rivers and lakes, torrents and waterfalls.
After the visit, you'll continue to Ankarana and make a short visit to the Tsingy Rouge, leaving the cool zone by taking the fork to the left 60 km from Diego and continuing on a red track to the Tsingy rouge. The Tsingy is an exceptional geological formation, made up of Gré, limestone and marl in pointed shapes, sculpted by the Irodo river, rain and wind into the great canyon of different colors, ranging from white to ochre, orange... The hike passes through three different viewpoints where you can admire the Tsingy.
Then you reach the village of Mahamasina, the entrance to Ankarana Est Park.
